I enjoyed this one, a novel about missed opportunities and ‘what ifs’ in life where anything could happen. First, we have Lara and her 18-year-old daughter Eliza, who just learns that the man who walked out on her when she was younger isn't in fact, her dad. The story had a great flow during the reading and it wasn't too obvious what would happen at some points. I liked the story because it brought out such strong emotions in me, even though they may not have been the ones I was supposed to feel.
