Welcome to the massive joy of Story Dough!, the wonderfully simple yet powerful way to immerse children in the worlds of story dreaming, chat, mark making and finger strength. The School is committed to making all courses offered affordable and available to those who have a passion and aptitude for drawing. Therefore we offer a number of 50% and 100% means-tested scholarships for each Drawing Club. We welcome applications to the Drawing Clubs from all Super simple, easy to immerse in, yet with huge potential right across school from Reception to Year 6, Babblejab! is an adventure into language and imagination. Each Saturday morning session will be led by a different artist, and you’re welcome to drop into as many or as few as you’d like. All you'll need is a pencil, paper and rubber, with each session exploring different techniques and styles. Created as a precursor to Drawing Club, Story Dough! is a ten minute pop-up for adults and small groups of children to invent, wonder and bring imagination to life using a great big clod of playdough. And just like Drawing Club, you can take Story Dough! on an adventure with your children - the possibilities are endless as is the potential joy...

Would you like to spend one evening a week just drawing or painting? Then the City Academy Art Club is a great way to develop your skills in a relaxed and creative atmosphere.Or explore more meaningful origami and share the story of Sadako and her wish to make a thousand origami cranes after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. There is now a statue in Japan called the Children’s Peace Monument, inspired by her efforts. Challenge the children to learn how to make cranes, and display them as a symbolic sculpture in school.

The Curious Quests is an immersive adventure into story, poetry, make-believe and giving children a childhood that brims with endless possibilities to invent, imagine and story dream. To go on the Curious Quests with your children you must have a full understanding of Drawing Club. If you don't know how to use it then you need to do an online session on that first. The Curious Quests session and resources will not make sense without the context of Drawing Club and the online session will assume that you are familiar with its 4 Mini Moments.

The app's design is very simple and lightweight and will work flawlessly on all mobile devices including old devices.

You’ll be taught drawing techniques inspired by RA collections and exhibitions, as well as working from life models and objects from around your house. Sessions are suitable for all levels, so whether you’re a seasoned sketcher or a complete novice, you’ll find activities to inspire you. Scribble Club explores how to add an extra layer of joy to the day through scribbling's powerful link to invention, magic and story. You can experiment with a range of different mediums from pencil to acrylic paints. Focus on one specific medium over several weeks, or try something new each session.
