It contains a modified, stabilised form of pure vitamin C, which is gentle enough for sensitive skin and is also less susceptible to oxidisation, meaning the product can still be as efficacious six months after opening (this is not always the case with vitamin C skincare! My skin is dehydrated at the moment so for me this would work better in the Spring/Summer months when I need a lighter moisturiser.
