About this deal

Steven can't see a light at the end of the dark, hopeless tunnel that is his home situation, until he meets Jenna. Das Buch hatte das Potenzial ein wirklich spannender Thriller zu werden, durch persönliches Geplänkel allerdings ganz schön eingebüßt. It's sweet how Aunt Helen is always trying to play matchmaker to Stephen, and her banter with Matt was LOL funny. Internationally bestselling, RITA-award winning, author Karen Rose was born and raised in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. Please don't misunderstand me - I like a good, well written romance, and am happy to read sexy novels, but this is not the author's best genre.

Though the suspense part was wonderful, thrilling, chilling, intriguing, and keeping the reader on the edge of the seat, the characterization and all those little sideline stories bothered me. He's no closer to identifying and stopping a monster and he keeps messing up the relationship he desperately wants to pursue with the first woman to make it past his shields since his wife's death. The story unfolds with a twist… which makes one realise how a good author can wind a reader around her/his finger. She keeps contact with her deceased fiance's family and her best friend is another teacher at the school she works for, High Point High School. I can't give Have You Seen Her the same accolades as I've given the other Rose books, minus Nothing To Fear. When Seattle detective Neil Davies learns of the North Carolina murders, he's certain a previous suspect (released on a technicality three years before) is responsible.

With two winners in a row, Karen Rose has earned a spot on my favorite authors list, and I'm really looking forward to reading more of her novels soon. I didn't like Neil much, although he isn't a bad guy, he was just not my cup of tea, and I was constantly rolling my eyes every time he pined for the girl he couldn't have. Special Agent, Neil, deserved the girl, not Thatcher, and Jenna should have stuck to her conclusion that Thatcher would always be suspicious of any man who so much as spoke to her.In Steven, we see that it isn't just single women who struggle with juggling children with a personal life and work. Readers may never use an unsecured free Internet connection again after plowing through Rose’s engaging new thriller. Note: Opinions expressed in reviews and articles on this site are those of the author(s) and not necessarily those of BookLoons. I was also hoping for more time spent on the mystery and not Steven's "woe is me" angst or people telling him he needs to get married again for the sake of his boys -- which again, product of its time.

She's a saint and perfect and loves her students, but outside of school I don't know much about her.Stephen and Jenna are both wounded souls who very much need each other, but they're also both rather stubborn and after being deeply hurt in the past, don't want to feel needy.

The mystery suspense of this plot centers on a serial killer who murdered four girls and got off on a technicality. I love the way, Karen Rose provided the twists and turned between her characters especially Special Agent Steven Thatcher and Dr Jenna Marshall. Karen Rose’s first novel, 2003’s Don't Tell , created something of a stir, with her heroine, Eve Wilson, brutalised, left unconscious – and requiring plastic surgery. He started killing again when he stopped taking the medication his mother had forced on him after suspecting him of the crimes his brother was accused for a few years back before the family moved away after he was acquitted. When Brad's grades start slipping his teacher Jenna Marshall decides to contact his father and try to get an understanding of why the bright star pupil she knew is turning into a failing mess before her eyes.
