I blind bought Fantasy because of the notes, the trashy early 2000´s Mcbling vibes, and the good reviews I kept seeing on YouTube and Fragrantica. James Krivda did an outstanding job on blending the ingredients so well together and made Fantasy playful uplifting and delicate. It smell to sweet and overhyped maybe the one who seem to compliment it probably enjoy it for nostalgia. The problem is people say the formula changed immediately after they had taken away the crystals around the neck (the formula never changed straight after that) I don't know the year the formula changed but it definitely wasn't the second they removed those rim of the neck crystals. It's sharply sour at first but the sour sharpness disappears within the first 10 mins leaving a pleasant, sweet, sort of candy-like food smell.

Its a shame this fragrance community classifies and profiles scents according to its brand and actual scent notes.

Certainly smells better than Angel Muse EDT, Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess, Alien Goddess (this one is nauseating for me, though I adore original Alien), Burberry For Her, etc. your taste also changes and if you find that you no longer like Fantasy, its not because it's a different formulation, its because you have changed. whether you hate this perfume or not you can't deny the fact that it set the standard for celebrity fragrances.I do not think I would wear it now personally, as it is a very young fragrance - or, well, I just outgrew it. For my husband, it reminds him of being a teenage skater boy that had crushes on all the cute-smelling girls.
