Liv and Theo fall asleep listening to French rap music every night from their respective beds and ugh you KNOW you could just cut that tension with a knife. I’m enjoying books set in foreign, exotic countries in the midst of this lockdown and this book sounds like something I would definitely read! I got bored at the halfway point and just wanted questions answered and this just seemed to drag on. Dax had always been one of Julius’s main targets, and so far all attempts at a cease-fire had been met with resistance.

Liv is assisting her father with his NatGeo documentary, and Nico Varanakis is an expert on all things Atlantis. In 2020 where we can barely go between different states in the US, I was eager to read a book set overseas in a different pandemic-less time. She's losing herself, sacrificing things she enjoys, to spend as much time as she can doing what her boyfriend wants to do. as in my first book boyfriend (for contemporary because genres have genres and I don't want to make it seem like I haven't been a simp for all of my 23 years) was Ren.It’s very early in the process, so this might not even be relevant in a year, but I’m writing a book that is set in the United States, which is new to me!

I think putting relationships in their rightful place is critical, meaning an important part of a teenager’s life, but not all of it. She also thought she’d signed divorce papers when the graduation caps were tossed, and they both went on their merry ways. I organized this by genre and release date, and I always preface my rounds-up by saying that I will definitely have more 2024 anticipated releases as the year continues and more books are announced ( I see you Fourth Wing 3 👀🤞🏻). Thankfully, the strong storylines of adventure and learning to understand those who have hurt you in the past made up for this.

It’s not like I was an active aqua phobic carrying nine years of emotional baggage onto a boat held together by duck tape. In the meantime, I might finally reread The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, thanks to that series’ Greek setting, and maybe rewatch Mamma Mia.

She also has to admit that she too was always interested in Atlantis because it was something they bonded over. Overall, the father/daughter feels, beautiful Greek scenery, hunt for Atlantis, and cute romance, made this one a solid addition to the series! Ultimately I did enjoy reading this for the most part, but my expectations may have been higher having enjoyed the previous books so much and I felt the pacing was off and slow at points.I felt like she was flinching away from her dad, flirting but not flirting with the love interest and thinking she knew everything throughout the whole book until the end. As they say themselves, they see themselves as social outcasts at school, which is only amplified by everyone ignoring them and the occasional jerk bullying them. Even so, she can’t help but be charmed by everything Santorini has to offer—the beautiful sunsets, the turquoise water, the sun-drenched villages, and the delicious cuisine. Despite the fact that mine and Maya’s relationship existed primarily on Planet Awkward, I couldn’t help but be excited for her. Her long black hair was in a sleek ponytail, and she held a straining Labrador retriever by its leash.

She knows she won't be happy following him around for much longer, but lacks the inner strength and confidence to be honest about her feelings.Let us begin with the first thing I realize, the reason why I dislike this book’s protagonist, Olive.
