Additionally, the Low Voltage Cutoff will completely turn off the power once the input voltageis < 2. For my runtime graphs here I used the included Wurkkos 3000mAh battery and made sure it was fully charged each time. The light is an 18650 powered host, and the factory provided (but optional) battery is a button top with 3000mAh. It’s bulky and heavy to carry in a pocket, so keep that in mind as this is more of a shelf light, than a carry light. Ceiling adjustment: Anduril also makes it really easy to adjust how bright the light gets, and with something like this — if you use it as a light for everyone you can quickly put a lower ceiling on it, or put it in ‘muggle mode’ for even more peace of mind.

You don’t get the same true to life colors you would expect from a warmer light, but the output still allows you to see everything you need, maybe just a slight variation of it. The steep drop down in brightness doesn’t bother me here like it normally would as for my uses I’d hardly use this light at higher lumens anyways. Maybe you’ll be able to help me a bit: there’s reviews that say the TS21 makes a high pitch noise, is this true in your experience? The light is not that much larger than many of my other 18650 lights, and while those lights top out with batteries in the 3200mAh range, this one starts easily at 5000mAh. Just one thing could make this flashlight better: please wurkkos - give us the TS11 and FC13 power-button! Wurkkos is one such brand, one that allows you to obtain higher light output and a more premium feel than something you would get at a gas station without requiring you to take a second mortgage on your home. The button is easy to find by feel even with gloves on, and hard to press by accident while carrying in a pocket. That was the main reason I decided for this lamp, I assumed it had two startup modes, one you set, one in ECO.

As stated earlier, this is an aircraft grade 6061 aluminum light an as such, the finish of the machining is fantastic. I like that there's an option of ramping or fixed modes to provide a choice between predictable runtime and precise output control. Unfortunately, the tailcap switch does protrude out slightly from the back of the light and with larger, deeper thumb cuts around the switch, it is unlikely you would be able to keep this tailstanding, especially if you have equipped the optional landyard.Battery capacity used to compute efficiency is taken from this test, using the closest match for current.

There are two UI’s to choose from (while off, hold for 3 seconds to change): stepped (default) and ramping. There are also places on the pocket clip to attach the lanyard, but as it’s a friction fit clip, I’d recommend sticking with the hole in the tailcap.

Most 3 volt, 3535 emitters are reasonable swaps should a user desire more throw or a different tint. In the future, it would be cool to see an updated FC11 model with some kind of regulation present -at the in the lower modes.
