About this deal

The fire crew arrives soon after expecting to find their bodies but they are faced with an impossible scenario. Biography: Tim Weaver is the Sunday Times bestselling author of thirteen novels, including No One Home, The Blackbird and The Last Goodbye, and a short story collection. We are yet to see any of his works on the big screen but that is something that is sure to come, given the increasing readership of his novels. Architect of Courage by novelist and Crime Fiction Lover reviewer Victoria Weisfeld comes out on 4 June. But he’s lonely and vulnerable, and could be about to make a huge mistake… As if Raker doesn’t have enough on his plate!

The Blackbird (David Raker Missing Persons, book 11) by Tim

Big Island, LA connects the dots between a heist gone wrong at a police shooting range and corporate greed and political corruption, leaving a former combat marine and an agoraphobic crime reporter to sort out the mystery. And what might the mysterious ‘dunes’, overheard by Georgia in a hurried phone conversation, have to do with it? With the place on lockdown while an investigation begins, four strangers, at the same table, pass the time chatting. On the night Tom Brenner and his nine-year-old son Leo visit the Seven Peaks theme park, they head straight for the ghost house. Author Daniel Sweren-Becker must have been well tuned in to the zeitgeist when he conceived Kill Show, his newly published ‘true crime’ novel, as it delves into growing critiques of the genre. This is the 30th book, but considering Alex has survived "Kill Alex Cross" before, chances are he survives this one. The Dead Tracks is another novel by Tim Weaver that is another novel by Tim Weaver that features scenes that darkness and devilry just like Chasing The Dead. I found myself eking out my reading time, desperately trying to make the experience last that teeny bit longer.

The Last Goodbye: The heart-pounding new thriller from the

Indeed, Alex was not the innocent person that his mother knew, as his life was full of sinister events whose secrecy was guarded by men who would do anything to ensure that the secrets were not disclosed, including killing anyone who insisted on knowing them. He is also the host and producer of the chart-topping Missing podcast and is currently developing an original TV series with the team behind Line of Duty. David Raker thrillers have a lot in common with most of Linwood Barclay’s and Michael Connelly’s works, Michael Marshall Smith’s “The Straw Men” and Mo Hayder’s “Gone”. Raker finds out that there is no substance in the allegations made about Megan’s disappearance- everything was cooked. The complex character throughout the series, David Raker, is charged with the responsibility of investigating the case.

But once Archer’s glad handing has garnered enough useful witnesses, he quietly departs, grabs a cab and heads to the Chelsea apartment of his girlfriend, Julia. That’s why it’s our lead book this week but we’ve also got a very clever mystery from Sulari Gentill, a debut for our own Victoria Weisfeld, a classic from 1930s author Alice Campbell, and hardcore psychological thrills care of Jon Bassoff. I guess we will all be counting down the days to book 12, because the finale of The Blackbird leaves us on quite the cliff edge.
