Kyseessä on kuitenkin kaikkialla maailmassa leviävä pandemia, joten on hyvä, että myös muiden maiden kokemuksia väläytellään. An infected salary man bites a chunk out of a Too Dumb to Live passenger's head, then attacks another. I have yet to seen this kind of spin on a zombie apocalypse and let me tell you, I’ve had my fair share in just about anything zombie related.

Features realistic artwork that switches from funny faces to grotesque ones with outstanding impact. Stopping himself, Hideo once again grabs the tissue holding Tekko's remaining teeth and loses the rest of them in the process. In the end he is a punished by ZQN by abandoning him to survive on his own, because he's not worth rescuing from himself. This series wasn't really on my radar at all because I don't really go in for zombie stuff but I really enjoyed this! This is a book about a regular man who lost his way in a normal society where we are measured only by the cash in our pockets. A mentally unhinged manga artist witnesses the beginning of a zombie outbreak in Tokyo, and he's certain of only two things: he's destined to be the city's hero, and he possesses something very rare in Japan--an actual firearm! We follow the main protagonist, an Otaku; though intelligent in some ways, when it comes to social skills and common sense he seems to be somewhat lacking. WARNING: A number of the comments below this one should be in SPOILER tag, as they spoil the ending for you.

Then one day Hideo sees a woman get hit by a cab and get up and walk away with an obviously broken neck. If you are or ever have been a self-entitled misogynistic whining trash, I Am Hero is your Golden Legend. I love that the characters in this book are average humans, it makes the main lead more understandable and likable. It is just not that interesting, sure the main character can be anti-social, lack social skills or bathing skills or whatever that makes the character different before the end of the world. Sae, the girl from the woods, and two other girls talk about how the teacher was acting strange all day.

Body Horror: After the person turns, the face and body get distorted and bloated, and the limbs can turn in unusual angles.Hideo rushes to the platform and boards the train before it leaves, panting as the doors shut he listens to the other passengers who have yet to comprehend what is happening. Hideo once again questions whether this is another one of his hallucinations, believing that the stress of work and his own mind are beginning to eat at him. Also no one seem to convey what is going on to others, they just shout in pain and talk about random daily stuff. Her behavior may explain the zombies' erratic violent behavior and tendency to spout Madness Mantras. Upon investigating the JSDF APC, the entire interior is speckled with blood, with the only piece of equipment left from the crew being a bloody helmet; the group concludes that the soldiers manning the checkpoint had been zombified, and that the chances of rescue from the JSDF were dwindling.

Death of a Child: In fact, zombified children are quite troublesome, as they are more difficult to spot and evade, especially in a crowded places. The only real positives I can give it are the reasoning behind the zombies, as it is a rather original take which makes the horror elements and worldbuilding a bit more interesting, and the art being utterly horrifying for the zombies at times making them feel like a genuine threat. Checking his phone that has no service or video link, he uses it as a flashlight as he journeys further into the woods; when Hideo hears rustling from somewhere else in the woods. As the group continues their journey, they watch Japanese national broadcasts and YouTube videos, where the trio find hints to the beginning of the zombie infestation with a psychotic man named Kurusu who claimed he couldn't kill his mother no matter how many times he brutally beat her.
