eARC received from Penguin Random House Children's UK via NetGalley in an exchange for an honest review. This title released on the 17th February 2022. i'm actually quite sad to say goodbye to this series, but i know that i'll be visiting it again in the future! The Brothers Grimm are invited to an audience with the Grand Dame, who expresses her disappointment in their version of Cinderella. She produces a jeweled slipper and recounts Cinderella's true story. To end on a high note, I really enjoyed Glynn's prose here. Yes, it didn't rip open the scenes as much as I would have wanted, and as much as would've been beneficial to the story, but Glynn's writing is efficient and does the job. It's so satisfying to see how much it's improved since the first book!
