Description

If you don’t have a matching card, you draw a new card from the Draw pile. If you draw a card that matches, you can (but don’t have to) play it. A player may perform two actions during their turn, even if they are the same action. Play proceeds to the next player once the other player has completed their actions. There are three types of actions a player can perform: If you choose to mine a card, you take it from one of the resource piles and add it to your hand. Resources come in numerous different types, and some are rarer (and thus more valuable) than others. Craft

Minecraft Uno is one of the most popular Uno versions of the top-rated card game. As you might already have noticed, Uno has a rich history of creating exciting, fun, and different themes of the Uno game, Minecraft Uno being one of them. TNT: If a player mines a TNT card, it must be played immediately. The player must then take the top card of the other four resource piles, but are only allowed to keep two cards; only resource or "Wild" cards are allowed to be kept. Then, the TNT card and the other two cards drawn are put into the discard pile. Uno Minecraft has 112 cards in total, which is a bit more than the usual. 2-10 players may take part in the game. The goal of the game is to discard all your cards before the other players do, and to accumulate a score of 500 points (or a number that everyone is ok with).

End of the Game

The round is over when someone discards all their cards. Take note, if that last card played is a Draw Two or Draw Four, the next player must still draw those cards even though the game has ended. When you take TNT, you use it right away to get to take two other top cards, and discard the other two top cards. If you uncover a creeper (or several creepers) while taking/using TNT, finish the TNT action BEFORE everyone discards a resource card for each creeper.

These theme games often come with new designs, additional special cards, and sometimes slightly different directions. If a player decides to mine a resource card, they are to take one resource card from the top of one of the five resource card piles.Once you pay the resource cost for a Craft Card to the discard pile, you will place the card in front of you. Each card you craft will have a point value attached to it which is shown in the corners. The card also features a tool icon which gives you a one time special ability. Reserve If you uncover a creeper and someone has no resource cards, they don't have to discard any, and they don't need to use up a sword. (They have nothing to protect, so they are running away.)

When you have mined the required resources, you may use an Action on your turn to trade them in and get the card out of reserve. Place it with your other crafted cards. The Minecraft Uno rules for finishing the game are the same as in regular Uno. Before you play your second to the last card, you need to say or yell “Uno!” Which means “one” in Spanish and Italian. If you mine a TNT card, you must play it IMMEDIATELY. Take it and the top card of the 4 other Resource Card piles. When I reviewed Minecraft Builders & Biomes I commented on the fact that the Minecraft theme is not one that is a natural fit for board games. The game has so many different mechanics and things that you can do that I thought it would be hard to translate to a board game. I was actually surprised by how well Builders & Biomes adapted the theme to a board game. The same holds true for the Minecraft Card Game? as well even if it might not do quite as good of job. Instead of trying to bring in all of the different elements of the video game, it decides to focus on the resource gathering and crafting aspect of the game. While it is not exactly the same (the blueprints don’t always exactly match the video game), it actually does a surprisingly good job replicating this aspect of the game in a card game format. Honestly I don’t know how much more could have been done to create a card game that simulates Minecraft better.

Minecraft is a game of resource management, and there are many different materials in play. Wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamond are all included, and some are rarer than others. Players need to gather resources to build tools and earn points. Craft Cards/ Tools Now clearly, the Minecraft card game isn’t played in the same way. But the card game does carry over many of the same principles. Player’s will need to manage resources, including wood, stone, iron, gold, and diamonds. Before we look at the rules, let’s see how the game works in more detail. What is The Minecraft Card Game?

Craft

Shuffle the Craft Cards. Deal the cards into four equal piles with the Crafting Side face up. There will be one extra Craft Card which will be placed to the side to start the discard pile. The Minecraft card games take the sandbox video game’s fun adventure gameplay and transform it into a creative card game. Every player will have to carefully mine, craft, and reserve materials to win the game. If the last card is a Draw 2 or Draw four or the Uno Minecraft Creeper card, the player or player needs to draw the remaining cards. This is important because it counts towards the scoring. Setting up the game is relatively easy. First, shuffle all the resource cards into five piles, with 15 cards in each. The piles should also include special cards. When done, make sure you turn the piles over, so the cards are face-up.
