It is important to note that there is no limit to how much Epaderm you can use. The below is a guide and will vary based on body size and dryness of skin. We recommend to start with a smaller amount and build up to what is right for you and your skin. When using Epaderm Cream as an emollient, apply the cream generously to the affected area and massage. Bedding and clothing should be washed regularly (preferably daily) to minimise the build-up of impregnated paraffin although it may not be completely removed, unless it is washed at a high temperature as paraffin is invisible and can accumulate over time Please be aware that this product contains Liquid Paraffin which is highly flammable, keep away from open or gas fires or hobs and naked flames, including candles etc. and not to smoke when using these paraffin containing preparations. For use as a bath additive: Melt Epaderm Ointment in a suitable container of hot water and and shake to mix. Ensure the mixture has cooled sufficiently before adding to the bath. Care should be taken as Epaderm Ointment will make the bath surface slippery. After bathing, gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
