Description

Thanks for the tip! I actually bought one of the Superdrug ones you recommended last year, but never got around to using it. I have been using this product for a couple of years now, it revives the red, cooper tones of my natural color. It leaves hair quite soft too.

As for ‘Ruby Red,’ meanwhile, it’s actually lighter than both the name and bottle suggest, and pretty similar to good ol’‘Warm Copper Gold,’ may it rest in peace: Aqua/Water/Eau, Propylene Glycol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Steareth-20, Phenoxyethanol, Parfum/Fragrance, Glycerin, Isopropyl Alcohol, Mica, Polyquaternium-37, Potassium Phosphate, Benzyl Benzoate, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Hexyl Cinnamal, Titanium Dioxide, Linalool, PPG-1 Trideceth-6, 2-Amino-6-Chloro-4-Nitrophenol, Sodium Hydroxide, Limonene, HC Blue No. 2, Acrylates/Stearyl Methacrylate Copolymer, 4-Hydroxypropylamino-3-Nitrophenol, Sorbitan Oleate, HC Blue No. 12, HC Yellow No. 13, Citric Acid, EDTA.

FAQ

So, the first thing I noticed here is that this is a much better conditioner than the old Colour Effects, which was actually pretty useless as a conditioner: I loved it for its colour-depositing properties, but would always have to use a separate conditioner afterwards, whereas this product does it all in one. In this respect, I’d say it’s much more like the old John Frieda Colour Glaze (which was also discontinued in red, much to my disappointment) than Colour Effects, and this is a very good thing indeed. After using it, my hair felt in much better condition than it usually does, and it was easier to detangle, too.

I hate when they discontinue lines I love, or change the recipe e.g. to make a facial product more allergenic by adding scent. True to its name, this hybrid formula imparts high shine and tons of smoothing and softening benefits. It comes in 11 natural-looking colors, including plenty of options for blondes, brunettes, and redheads. It can also be used to refresh all-over color, as well as to tone highlights or lowlights.Yes, we know, this isn’t technically a color-depositing conditioner so much as it is a clear gloss. But if you don’t color your hair but do want some added vibrancy to your natural hue, this formula is amazing. It works on all hair colors (and types and textures) and adds a mirror-like shine that lasts up to eight washes. I, however, am really pleased with this product, and am downright thrilled that I’ve finally found a replacement for John Frieda’s Colour Glaze. I’ll definitely be buying it again, although there is one big question on my mind: I wonder how long it’ll be before they discontinue this one, too? The Copper Conditioner , used along infuse My. colour Copper Shampoo, revives and tones coloured hair with stunning copper shades. It revitalizes dull hair, adding a layer of brightness to maintain your hair colour in between visits to the salon! I’ve been on line and pop into every Superdrug I pass by just in case I find a bottle but sadly no joy. Not only does this multi-tasking formula deposit semi-permanent color and condition, but it also gently cleanses. The pigment lasts anywhere from 10 to 15 washes, and ingredients such as coconut oil, shea butter, and keratin make the blend equal parts softening and strengthening. It comes in an array of 18 pretty shades.

Fun fact: Red hair color is the most prone to fading because the dye molecules are larger and more likely to slip out of the hair shaft. Enter the beauty of using a color-depositing conditioner whenever your hue needs a refresh. It comes in two red shades—saffron red and red poppy—and gets the conditioning and coloring job done in just five minutes. It should go without saying, but you want to make sure the formula will still be able to do the conditioning part of things, and not just deposit color. Butters and oils (found in the Overtone Coloring Conditioner and the Maria Nila Colour Refresh) will help hydrate the hair, keeping it soft and shiny, and making the color look even better. I come from a family of hairdressers. I knew from the age of 9 I wanted to be a hairdresser and started hairdressing in the late 1980s in Perth, Australia. I opened my first salon at 21 ... Clairol Temporary Colour Gloss Up Enhance, one simple step to enhance colour or add vibrant tones - and add brilliant shine in one simple step.Buriti oil, apricot oil, and shea butter give this mask its luscious consistency—it's an amazing choice for anyone with hair that needs a little extra TLC and a color refresh at the same time. It comes in four shades, including two options for blondes and two for brunettes, all of which are specially formulated to reduce color fading.
