Plug and Play – no installation required, simply plug into your cars existing iPod cable . Read and display entire iPod library from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on car display. Problem is , If I pause the music it will also cut off the audio from any NAV apps so I can't hear directions from Waze or google maps unless music is playing. Compatible with Audi MMI, Mercedes Media Interface and VW MDI. Support Airplay and A2DP Bluetooth music streaming protocol. Winner - glad you got it sorted, all good learning , and it cements what I guessed about the adapters and the interfaces and the bluetooth profiles - all learning and good info. I have an obsession with steering wheel controls for audio ( had an audi without for 13 years ) - so I like that one extra step for integration ( and as an iPhone user - I am working with different set of options/challenges). I totally get your setup and most importantly - works for you for approx 50 quid - no wrong answers there. Bovee WMA3000A Bluetooth Car Kit Adapter for Streaming iPod

After some more research I think I've figured out the issue and it comes down to how the device is powered. At some point around 2008 Apple changed the way their 30 pin devices charge - from FireWire 12 volt to USB 5 volt. I have a 2007 e92 with the ipod Most adapter (CCC add-on with cable in the glove) and this is the only adapter that works. I've tried several of the other ones with aptX support but none of them will power on when connected to my adapter. The tune2air is world-renowned for being the best adapter for plug and play bluetooth (A2DP) streaming music to iPod ready cars. Tired of not being able to stream music wireless to your car and fumbling with cables and old technology? With the plug and play tune2air bluetooth adapter streaming works as if factory fit. Simply choose the right connection for your model vehicles iPod integration port, plug in, and start enjoying the music!

I've been trying to add Bluetooth functionality to my 2007 car that came from the factory with the BNS 5.0, Bose and the CD changer in the glovebox, but no aux input. Test Bank for Business Communication Essentials: Fundamental Skills for the Mobile-Digital-Social Workplace, Global Edition I connected a Bovee 1000 BT adapter to my 2013 XK yesterday and basically it worked fine. But only for transmitting the sound, I was not able to control it via the touch screen and it does not show any titles, etc. on the screen. The message on the screen says "Connect IPod". I use it with an IPhone Xs. The Live Show

What happens if a call comes in? Presumably because the phone is Bluetoothed to the adapter, it will no longer be linked to the car system. So although you may be able to hear the call, what microphone (if any) would work? The issue I was having that affected both the invery and the bovee I think is iPhone specific - namely - it all works fine, phone calls go to the PCM, music goes to the adapter, but there is some interaction, and the music audio drops and sometimes the adapter resets and the car thinks the ipod went away - it's solved by disabling the Bluetooth phone side on the pcm - but then you lose that feature ( I don't use it often - but I like things to work as well as they can ) - so I went to a wired solution which works for iPhone with the right adapter but likely wouldn't work at all for Android) We’d heard the legendary stories about the time Lesllie Bovee and Serena supposedly appeared in a live show at Melody Burlesk in New York in the late 1970s. According to people who worked there, the duo broke all box office records during their short appearance together. This review describes my personal experience in a BMW with the CIC version of iDrive after daily use over one month. The WMA1000 is connected to the BMW-supplied Y-cable under the center armrest. It syncs with an iPhone 5 running iOS 7 in an '09 3-series with iDrive. CIC is defined here: I have been around the loop on this with my setup. And I have gone to a wired solution ( happy to share/bore with the details if you want )

It apparently started out as a week-long double bill featuring Lesllie Bovee, fresh from her success in the film Eruption (1978), and west coast actress Phaedra Grant. The show changed when Serena, who was living in New York with her boyfriend Jamie Gillis at the time, gatecrashed the event, and performed an impromptu show with Lesllie on several nights. This information comes from a friend who did a test and sent an inquiry to the manufacturer. He explained that the A2DP spec defines mandatory support for SBC, which is of lesser quality than AAC/MP3 at the same bit rate. He said he looked at the data sheet for the chip used by ViseeO inside the WMA1000 and he thinks the chip supports both SBC and AAC. The iPhone supports A2DP codecs for both. Sending music in AAC format would consume less power on the phone, while transcoding to SBC consumes power and is a bit lossy.
