The product goes on like a polish, and is rubbed in by hand. Best results are obtained by circular motions applying the product in a thin film which dries to a haze. Like wax or polish, it is then removed by polishing with a dry cloth, terrycloth or microfiber providing the best results. For older or neglected glass I've found a second application really gives amazing results. Where the glass before treatment may not have seemed "dirty," after completing the process you'll likely be amazed by the clarity and complete transparency of the glass. We were impressed by the dry feel; it felt impeccably smooth without any grip, allowing water to bead right off. It's at a nice price point too.
