"Our Secret" is a drama with a good plot, lovable characters and excellent acting. the actors in this drama aren't that famous (edit: this was before hidden love) but their acting is really good; definitely how a high schooler would behave, in my opinion. it's fast paced with little or no filler scenes so overall it was a good watch. it felt so nostalgic (even tho I haven't finished my high school yet). Zhou Si Yue and Ding Xian hide from their homeroom teacher. They can't be caught on a "date". Belatedly, Ding Xian realizes she's holding hands with Zhou Si Yue. Then it starts to rain and he pulls his shirt over her to shield her. We’ve had loads of people saying it’s helped them almost to come out, say that they’re gay and that is an incredible thing. It’s so inspiring when we hear these stories with the music we’re bringing out. This book made me laugh out loud (the scene where Bridger had to carry Alexis out of a restaurant because she was so protective of him was hysterical), cry, and everything in between. These two have the kind of deep, trusting, relationship we all want, but so few have so we read about it. The only people who didn’t know they were in love and had been in love with each other since childhood were Alexis and Bridger.

Zhou Si Yue rewrites Ding Xian's English notes for her when he barely studies (yet he still aces everything) I loved the banter, the cute moments between characters, and the relationship between the characters. I love the friends to lovers trope and it made the story enjoyable.
