Thanks for the replies guys I knew when i posted this it was going too be a bit like marmite some hate some like and i do agree with people about seeing how it will last after a few more sessions as i have said i have a couple of shimano reels two okuma reels plus an older penn 750 and in the past have tried daiwa,Mitchell and quantum reels in fact my spinning reel is a Mitchell Avocet Gold 3 Reel 2000 which has near perfect line lay and is in fact better then the more expensive okuma salwater trio that is built for spinning and too be honest i would never suggest too anyone to go out and buy the surfblaster 8000 as after previous experience with the penn 850 not even lasting a year of fishing and i agree with a lot of people when they say penn has a very bad image too get rid espically towards there reels the intresting thing is under the umbrella of pure fishing are Mitchell,Pflueger,Sebile,Abu Garcia and Shakespeare all good equipment suppliers in there day and as far as i no still are.
