Mortarion Grime is a lovely shade of yellowy filth that’s perfect for weathering war machines and dirtying grizzled behemoths. Tyran Blue and Berserker Bloodshade offer new ways to shade reds and blues that are more vivid than our existing hues, while Soulblight Grey is great for shading pale paint schemes.

Emma’s Tzaangors have a vibrant, old-school colour scheme that uses Contrast for almost everything, from their pastel skin to their earthy horns – she’s even used layers of Contrast paint to give a metallic look to their golden weapons and trim. Axlotl - Chaqua - Chupayotl - Hexoatl - Huanabic - Huatl - Hualotl - Itza - Konquata‎‎ - Oyxl - Pahuax - Quetza - Tlanxla - Tlax - Tlaxtlan - Xahutec - Xhotl - Xiliquncani - Xlanhuapec - Xuhua - Zlatlan - Zultec Saurus marked by destiny will carry astroliths into combat – complex devices covered in astrological symbols, with an orb of purest celestite floating in the middle, they act as conduits for heavenly energies to further empower the Seraphon armies.* Aggradon LancersCohort of Huatl - Some of the most dedicated Kroxigors to ever spawn from Huatl, this cohort is eager to slaughter the warriors of the younger races. Tyranids: The Tyranids are a bio-engineered alien race that use genetic engineering to create new creatures to consume their prey. The creatures in this army often feature a chitinous armor and scaly textures, making Kroxigor Scales a great choice for painting these models. Paint makes Warhammer, and gorgeous miniatures are a key part of the Warhammer hobby. There’s nothing better than two epic-looking armies facing off on the battlefield, and we all take great enjoyment in sharing our proudest paint jobs on the internet. To help you keep creating incredible armies and jaw-dropping models, Citadel Colour are massively expanding the Contrast range, improving the range of amazing Shade paints, and creating the smoothest and brightest ever white spray – the best just got better.

I've just about got the unit to table top ready, however they need both basing and weathering, so that's a job for this week. Aeldari Emerald is a colour unlike any in the current Contrast range, giving you a brand new choice for a whole range of effects. You also don’t need to kitbash every single model in the army! When I build up my Siraxues High-hivers, I’ll definitely reserve the Lumineth heads for highborn Officers and Veterans, to ensure they stand out while giving the army a distinctive flair. Myself and the DA player were the more experienced so maybe shouldn't have been on the same side, but we just teamed up based on where we were standing.

Pylar Glacier creates the illusion of an icy surface with no hassle. Briar Queen Chill and Dreadful Visage live up to their names, making them ideal for spectral phantasms or smoky apparitions, and Mantis Warriors Green offers a luminous green-yellow that’s perfect for bolts of wyrd energy. They were finished off with another highlight by mixing in Screaming Skull to the Tuskgor Fur. The Gold

Emma: It’s so yellow! Bad Moon Yellow covers really well all over for a clean, sharp yellow that’s super bright. It’s great on armour panels for Bad Moons – of course – and Ironjawz!

Everyone agreed that the mental load, even for people that had never played before, was lower then 9th ed 40k. No strats, no rerolls. Rolling a 1 to wound or save was actually a meaningful, fun event now. All of the ropes and leather straps on the model, including the grip on the weapon and shield, were tidied up with Wraithbone, before getting a coat of Gore-Grunta Fur.

Jim: Yes, Bob, but if a Kroxigor catches your punch with its open jaws, you’ll have to replace what’s left of your fist with an ACTUAL hook… Terms - hard to kill power houses. They really need +1 to hit or something, they struggled against WS5+ The orbital girdle of Zynod II is a wonder of ancient technology, a vast and slowly decaying network of interlinked space stations and self-sustaining void-habs that blankets the planet’s sky. Soldiers tithed from the Zynod Belt are willowy, superstitious, and precise, suited to boarding actions and low-g planetary assaults.

Iyanden Yellow and Nazdreg Yellow were a dream for painters when they first dropped – easy-to-achieve yellows in one coat! Bad Moon Yellow provides an even brighter choice, especially over a White Scar undercoat. This set builds either five javelin-throwing Raptadon Hunters or lance-wielding Raptadon Chargers, two units who have natural synergy on the battlefield. Saurus Warriors The Grease-cats have a jumbled, motley look, like they’re supplementing their gear with private salvage. This made it easier to mix-and-match as the mood took me, meant I never got tired of coming up with new troopers, and opened up a great variety of parts from both kits. It also disguised some of my mistakes… new paints is a lot of colour to cover, so we’ve split the range into four simple categories to help you get an idea of what they look like. These new colours run the gamut from bright and bold to grimy and eerie – whether you’re painting a tank turret or a raging Endless Spell, there’s a pot here for you.
