Just like Flamma FS21, Boss RC-5 also supports stereo sound, and both are compact pedals, with Boss being a bit more compact. Boss also supports PC connection for audio file imports and exports.

For small live performances, you can use the pedal’s looper, but I would suggest looking for higher-end looper pedals for professional use as the looping sound quality is better on those ones. The same thing also goes for drum grooves. Although they sound amazing for home practice, amateur, and semi-professional settings, for professional settings, they may not satisfy the player. Where To Place The Donner Circle Looper Pedal On The Pedal Board? The Circle has a built-in Drum machine of 100 different sounds! Something you won’t find with the Triple, which is purely a looper. The first thing you will experience is that it really doesn’t like to be daisy-chained...you get an overall hissing sound with some other weird noise, which I think is normal with digital pedals. Once plugged with a dedicated power supply, everything became silent and crystal clear. The Circle also boast 2 control knobs to alter levels, which also function as buttons. Something you don’t get with the One. Here you just get 1 knob, with no extra button functiinality.Audio-wise, the Circle is a real step up! Unlike the Nux Loop Core which has 16bit audio, it boasts 24bit. Impressive!! In regards to foot-switches, both pedals are made of metal & feel substantial enough to stand on. Neither of these pedals feel cheap by any means. One thing to mention here is that it doesn’t include a power supply. So yes it’s cheap, but you should mentally add a little on for that. How Does the Donner Circle Looper Perform? And How Does it Sound? Undoubtably our answer would be yes. Ask us & the Donner Circle is more than worth it for most loopers. So while it may not have the most features of any looping pedal, nor be the best suited to serious looping pros, as a piece of looping kit for beginners goes, it’s pretty much ideal. Here’s just a few things that we think makes the Circle looper stand out…

In my extensive experience with the Donner Circle Looper Pedal, I’ve found it to be a valuable addition to my musical toolkit. Its user-friendly nature, exceptional drum grooves, and high-quality sound make it a standout choice in the world of guitar effects pedals. Donner Circle Looper Review highlights I thought that with 100 drum sounds, there would be a good number of usable ones. Unfortunately, most have ghastly snare sounds (all the disco beats), and many would be okay except for awkward drum fills which make them unusable, at least at certain tempos. "Funk" beats are only "funky" in that they have odd syncopations...like a programmer might think. The pedal also supports SD cards which you can upgrade to have more space for recording in the stompbox. It can also be connected to a computer like the Donner for importing and exporting recorded files. I was hesitant to try this, but I had been seeing signs of a company trying to rebrand and step things up a notch. Also, you can't get these features in a looper unless you pay close to twice as much. After messing with this for a bit, I must say I am impressed. The build quality (especially the switches) is better than the old pedals that have been discontinued. The printed designs look of better quality, and the digital display is very nice. The knobs are solid.Of course, there are some letdowns, like there is no volume level adjustment for the looper, but these can be overcome with different solutions. For the price, you can not expect everything to be perfect. Recording time on the Boss RC-5 is also substantially larger. The Donner’s 160 minutes looks pretty small when compared to the 13 hours that you get with the RC-5. Although with that being said – do you know a Loopermaster who’s used 13 hours of recording time? We don’t. The relatively new member of the series, RC-5, covers all the needs from a basic looper pedal. It features 57 different rhythm patterns, each pattern with 2 variations, making 114 different grooves in total, while the Donner Circle Looper features 100. The Flamma FS21 Drum Machine Looper Pedal Compared To Other Pedals Flamma FS21 Drum Machine Looper Pedal Vs. Boss RC-5 Loop Station As a budget looper pedal, it sounds pretty fantastic. The looper has a clear sound without a loss of sound quality even when multiple effects are running at the same time. The option for stereo sound is also a huge plus, thanks to dual input and outputs.
