About this deal

Mesa can run on more than one fuel source since it is designed to do so. You have the option to burn with pellets or any available fuel thanks to a pellet adaptor that is included. Whether you’re burning Solo Stove Mini Oak Firewood or wood pellets, Mesa’s flames will burn extremely hot thanks to Signature 360° Airflow. Easy To Light Yes, Solo Stoves can be left in the rain, but it’s recommended to cover the stove with a protective cover when not in use to prevent rusting and damage. It’s not recommended to build around a Solo Stove as it can obstruct ventilation and increase the risk of fire. You don't realize how small a five-inch piece of wood is until you try to cut some down to size! It took significant effort to cut kindling into five-inch-long pieces for the Mesa. Yes, a Solo Stove can be used on grass, concrete, or outdoor rugs, but it’s important to place a protective pad or heat shield underneath the stove to prevent any damage to the surface.

The Mesa has the same signature stainless steel design as other Solo Stove fire pits (e.g., the Bonfire 2.0) but is small enough to put on an outdoor table. Plus, it’s a smokeless fire pit like larger Solo Stoves, so you don’t have to worry about smoke blowing into your face from the table. It’s not recommended to put a Solo Stove in a fire pit as it can obstruct ventilation and increase the risk of fire. Yes, a Solo Stove can get wet or rained on, but it’s recommended to cover the stove with a protective cover when not in use to prevent rusting and damage.Choosing an Outdoor Grill, Chiminea, Fire Bowl, Outdoor Fireplace or Fire Pit from one of these brands will give you years of enjoyment! Solo Stove's popularity can be attributed to a number of factors. Its fire pits are ruggedly-built, well-designed, easy to use and (mostly) portable. The brand's trademark smokeless technology actually works, eliminating the most annoying thing about traditional fire pits and bonfires: the smoke that seems to constantly always be in your face no matter how hard you try to escape it.

ADD A POP OF COLOR TO YOUR TABLE TOP MEAL EXPERIENCE: Mesa is a tabletop fire pit that adds warmth to the table and is ideal for urban and garden settings. The Mesa is a more smaller version of our famous Solo Stove Fire Pits, making it ideal for terraces, balconies, and tiny gardens. Mesa is a dynamic centrepiece that improves the appearance of your area. It was thoughtfully designed with new seasonal hues. There’s no assembly required with the Mesa. All you have to do is pop out the little legs on the stand, rest the Mesa on the stand and flip the flame ring so that the narrow opening is on top. If you want to use pellets, simply place the pellet adapter inside the fire pit before filling it with pellets. That's where the second fuel option comes in handy. To use wood pellets, simply place the Mesa's included pellet adapter into the unit before filling with pellets.

A review of the Solo Stove Mesa and Mesa XL tabletop firepit

The first Solo Stoves, which we tested, require being turned over to empty out the ash. The newer models now come with a removable ashtray that makes cleanup easier but will cost you a little more.

While the Mesa produced gorgeous flames, it didn't radiate that much heat. You had to hold your hands within six inches of the unit to warm them, so it certainly didn't reach as far as the chairs around our table. It's hot to the touch All of Solo’s pits are pretty much idiot-proof, but the larger formats certainly involve more legwork to get up and running (lugging wood over, setting up chairs at a safe distance, emptying the ash pan from a previous night, etc.). For me, a big selling point of the Mesa is that it takes a fraction of the time and effort of a bigger pit and produces a fraction of the cleanup. Getting a fire going only takes a few minutes with the Mesa, too. Simply place your fuel (wood or pellets) into the base of the Mesa, light your fire starter and boom! You can add more fuel as needed to sustain your mini flame. is small enough to sit on an outdoor dining table or end table, allowing you to bring a mini fire with you wherever you go. I spent a few weeks testing the pint-sized fire pit. Here's how it went. About the Solo Stove Mesa Tabletop Fire Pit Through the bottom vent holes of MESA, rising hot air is drawn in and distributed throughout the fire. Air fans blow an extremely hot flame into your burn chambers’ upper vent ports to reduce smoke. Protect Your Table

One downside to the Mesa is that the outside is hot to the touch when in use. While this shouldn't be surprising, since this is true of almost every fire pit we've tested, it is important because Mesa is designed to go on top of a table.
