About this deal

Wow , the results are amazing. A cream that was non-greasy, was well absorbed and kept my skin nice and hydrated. An added bonus is the smell. Some women are complaining about it but I find it lovely!’ Get all the latest news and headlines from Edinburgh, Fife and the Lothians sent straight to your inbox twice a day by signing up to our free newsletter. It wasn’t until my 30’s did I start using night cream properly, and this is the best product! If I use this, my face isn’t all dried up in the morning, and after about a month of using it, my skin felt A LOT smoother and softer. I still love the PIXI Rose Oil Blend, it’s an excellent product as is the iconic PIXI Glow Tonic, even Lacura couldn’t come up with a viable alternative to that, I know this because I tried their version and there’s no comparison. First time using this product and I find it absolutely fantastic. No adverse reaction and my skin looks and feels great. Waiting to see if scarring improves after a few weeks use.

After cleansing and toning your face, massage 2 or 3 drops into the skin, or add 1 or 2 drops to your moisturiser before applying for extra hydration. The morning newsletter arrives every day before 9am and the evening newsletter, manually curated by the team, is sent at 6.30pm, giving you a round up of the most important stories of the day. You can mix Lacura facial oil with moisturiser or apply a standalone moisturiser first (which I do) and pat two drops – no more, on top to ‘seal it in’ and help prevent moisture loss, it’s light but still potent. My sensitive skin hasn’t experienced any breakouts with this oil which can happen with botanicals. Give it ten minutes to ‘dry’ before applying sunscreen on top. As far as price goes (at Aldi) these products can’t be beaten. The creams come in a glass jar with a classy looking top and boxed. They would be an ideal inexpensive, but expensive-looking present for someone.

also includes a rosehip oil, which provides users with ‘arich source of antioxidants and essential fatty acids’.

Similar to Pixi’s Rose Oil Blend, this oil not only smells delicious and natural but sinks in immediately with no oily residue although that does mean there’s no slip for a self-face massage. I wasn’t even a fan of facial oils until I got older and my skin became less oily and more parched. I can’t believe how amazing this product is. I’ve had eczema for 30 Years on my hands and it gone, thanks to this product. My brother’s hands are the same and he’s raving about it too!

It’s incredibly moisturising. Apparently studies found that by using the Lacura Caviar Illumination day cream, the skin increases hydration after four hours of up to 58%, resulting in improved elasticity and smoother skin – which is the dream, right?! I love a face wipe (I get a lot of jip from people about it) and the Aldi Lacura face wipes are my wipes of choice. They’re based on the Simple sensitive skin cleansing facial wipes. The rose oil smells gorgeous and it feels very soft. It makes your skin feel soft and when I wake up my skin feels supple and looks plumper and hydrated. I really could notice a difference. It is also kind to your hands and they feel softer too after you have massaged it into your face!

It’s what’s inside that counts though right? Ok smell. I’ve sniffed these pots a billion times. They aren’t quite the same, but they also kind of are. I know that’s a rubbish description (ha!). but the biggest difference is that the Lacura one smells stronger. Many of Dylan's followers have been thrilled by the very reasonable offers, vowing to head out on their own beauty hauls. One person gushed: "Oh I love the rose oil! I've been waiting forever and also the concealer is fab!" Lacura Cleansing Facial Wipes – Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes Dupe What does Lacura Cleansing Facial Wipes do? This is my favourite night cream ever and I tried lots of different brands before including Estee Lauder. I found Lacura Q10 night best of all, it melts into my skin and moisturises really well. I like it has got retinol – the only REAL anti ageing ingredient available without prescription from a dermatologist. Not many creams have retinol in them and if they do, they cost a fortune. Love it, love it, love it.’ If you’re not allergic to the perfume in Lacura, then it’s a genuine, versatile and of course cheaper alternative to PIXI.I have been using the Lacura Miracle Cream for a few months now and was actually starting to panic when I was getting low because you don’t see it in-store all the time. This rose oil is so amazingly lovely on the skin and it also soaks in well without leaving an oily complexion. This is definitely going to be in my long term beauty regime. Aldi is clearly inspired by La Prairie’s jar, with the Lacura Caviar Illumination day cream being in a glass silver pot with blue accents. Wow, this product is so good! It is very very similar to the Pixi Rose Oil. It contains rose and pomegranate oils with Vitamin E. On the box it states that the oils help to nourish, soothe and moisturise skin and that skin will be left looking healthier, more radiant and that the natural oils will deeply moisturise.

has long been the most popular rose oil on the shelves, largely thanks to reports that it’s Kate secret weapon for an amazing complexion. US Weeklystated previously that ‘Kate [Middleton] continues to use rosehip oil in her daily skincare regiment’ and that ‘she loves the effect is has on her skin.’ Have been using this for a long time, and always bulk buy. Having used Elemis, Clinique and Clarins in the past, I can honestly say this is a great alternative and it can compete with the big boys! I like to wear rosehip oil at night. It’s full of that many antioxidants and it really works on a cellular level to rejuvinate the skin – I put it on at night and I wake up glowing,’ Miranda herself has said in the past. You know how much I love Aldi’s dupes, but am particularly keen on its Lacura range, which has some amazing beauty and make-up products which are heavily (ahem) ‘inspired’ on big make-up products for a fraction of the price.
