There are some fun techniques such as the Palm Trees, and how dense it is, giving the small beach section a very lived-in, survival vibe which translates well. The raft has a pole with a white flag. There’s a rope where it can attach to the desert island as well. Two studs are on the raft so that you can put 1-2 minifigures on it. Dumping out the contents, you get a instructions booklet and five bags of pieces. Note that they are not numbered. However, its not unusual as this set isn’t that big.

These include cooking with the campfire, exploring all the small animals nearby, resting in the shelter, enjoying the shade under the nice palm trees or exploring the oceans with the raft. Overall, this is a nice set. The complete set took about 45 minutes to build and that includes sorting the pieces too. Finally we should talk about that roof. This was the first time in a long while that I broke a set during construction while trying to get those clips attached to that central bar. I attribute this to the new, more open design of Ray’s hut compared to Daditwins’ submitted design.
