The KLYMIT Cross Canyon Tent 3 Person is from their series of 3 tents. They are best known for their sleeping pads, so this is their second tent series ever built, after their first-ever Maxfield series. You have a polycotton construction with a breathable fabric, and in addition it has many venting options. This all is supported with inflatable beams.

It’s just a matter of staking down the tent with the pegs, slipping the poles into their sleeves using the insta-clip pole attachments, and attaching the rainfly. Those are sleeves in the corners which keep the poles in place, and they are freestanding even before the tent is attached. So there are no hub elements here. The fly is with a stargazing design, so you can roll it up partly and fix it with toggles in place. While there’s little chance you’re going to fit the whole family in here, it’s an ideal beginner’s tent. Once again, this tent includes the footprint, reducing the overall amount you’ll have to spend on your kit. As an extra bonus, you get a repair kit too! Don’t underestimate the value of repair kits, especially if you’re reluctant to slap a strip of duct tape on your gear. (It’ll ruin the feng shui!) Ultralight 3-person tents are for adventurers who want to move light and fast. Usually, we see 1- or 2-person tents in the ultralight category, but Marmot managed to squeeze another body into their Tungsten without adding a whole lot of weight. As far as materials go, it’s made of high-quality 75D polyester taffeta. And it features well-made zippers that glide well. The fabric offers great UV protection inside the tent. However, other tents like the Coleman Instant Cabin Tent come with Dark Room Technology which helps to keep the interior cool and provide a sheltered area for respite from the sun. If you need something that will protect you in extreme heat, the Sundome is not going to provide sanctuary. Camping in winter and the cold We pitch every tent, taking into account how long it takes, how clear the instructions are, how much physical effort is required, and how convenient the process is.

There are two rooms here; the sleeping area is a tent within the tent and in front of it you have the living floored area but the floor in this section is not sewn in.
