About this deal

In fact the colour accent on the honeycomb makes it look like some of the paint has chipped off the mod. The Sceptre’s Battery Capacity LED clearly shows current battery charge and when it’s time to recharge the 1400mAh battery via microUSB. Battery indicator when in use: The LED on the right is the battery indicator. Red = 0-10% charge, Yellow = 10-30% charge, Green = 30-100% charge. To vape you can either just inhale to trigger the automatic airflow sensor or press the fire button. Changing down to the normal power level there is a slight drop in flavour and vapour so I did find this was much happier on the boost level.

However, mine had a slight buzzing when I vaped it, this may be to it being a review version so hopefully that has been sorted. It wasn’t enough to annoy me, and after a while I didn’t notice it, but it’s worth being aware. The 0.5oHm coil felt a little underpowered and I would like to have had the boost add more than 2W. My main gripe though is the adapter needed for the coils, I know it’s for them to be compatible with other devices, and making coils cross compatible is to be commended, but it just seems messy. Enjoy amazing Mouth to Lung (MTL) and Restricted Direct Lung (RDL) vaping with the Innokin Sceptre Pod-Mod Use a certified wall charger with a high quality microUSB, such as the cable provided with your Innokin Sceptre. It doesn’t matter if you vape Mouth to Lung or Direct to Lung, neither is ‘better’ than the other. There is a suggestion from some, that people should start with an MTL vape and then move on to, or ‘upgrade’, to a DTL vape. While I would always suggest starting with a MTL device (for no other reason than it’s closer to how most people smoke) there is no good reason to switch to DTL later unless you really want to, and if you like a bit of both in your day, with the Sceptre you can do both with the one device! Safety Features I would recommend this for new vapers who need a strong nic hit – but they might be put off by the coil change aspect – so not for complete technophobes. Meet the Innokin Sceptre II Kit, the newest addition to the Sceptre range of vape kits. With many improvements on offer, this lightweight device guarantees a high-quality and enhanced experience for all types of vapers.

The Innokin Sceptre 2 pod kit is an ideal choice for new and experienced vapers who prefer a discreet device that creates a small amount of vapour. This small and dependable vape is powered by a 1400mAh battery that will deliver up to 20W of power. There is a Sceptre 2 refillable pod included with each kit and is pre-installed with a 0.6 Ohm S Coil, which allows for an RDTL (Restricted Direct To Lung) vape. It is awkward to press when vaping as you have to hold the device with the mouthpiece horizontal, you also cannot see the LED indicators when vaping. Performance wise, flavour is excellent & surprisingly goods clouds. As a comparison, if you've used the Zlide tank the Sceptre easily beats it. The pod is refillable with up to 3ml (Standard) or 2ml ( TPD) of your own e-liquid via the side fill port. Sadly the instructions do not mention any protections or what the mod will display in the case of a fault. How To Charge The Battery

Pros / Cons

I also love the long battery life – it seems to take forever for the battery LED to change from Green! So far so good, but there is a slight amount of condensation on the pod base and in the pod port. This is usual for pod kits so is of no concern. The Innokin Sceptre works with two different coils. The kit comes with both coils, giving you an opportunity to try both and choose your favourite. Fully open this is definitely more of a RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) but again the auto draw still copes with the airflow increase.

To charge the Innokin Sceptre, connect it to your computer using the included USB cable. During charging, the Sceptre’s LED indicator illuminates red until the battery reaches 90-percent capacity. At that time, the LED changes to green. The light turns off when charging is complete. How to Fill the Innokin Sceptre PodAlso this is still compatible with the S-Coil range and you get the 0.5ohm and 0.6ohm coils included in the kit. A light is also provided to view the liquid level in the pod when you press fire or install the pod.

The original Sceptre was my first foray into a pod system, after 12 years, from using the original ecigs, through the first mods and pens, to the latest. I've always been fond of Innokin devices, from their first onwards, but I was never impressed by their coils, which always tasted metallic and didn't last long, so I tended to use their batteries with Smok tanks. The flavour is strong and clear and with the boost power level I am getting a great throat hit too. Power level indicator: The LED on the left is the power level indicator – Purple = high (boost) and Blue = Low (Normal). Charging took a few minutes either side of 2 hours every time with a 2A charging plug. Obviously the charger output is reduced to match the capability of the mod. How To Fill the Pod For standard, high resistance atomizers or restrictive devices (ex. pod based, pen), we recommend 6mg or higher due to the mouth to lung (MTL) design of this atomizer, tank. Preference may vary depending on the user and frequency of use. With the 1.2ohm coil on the higher (boost) power level I got 15 hours in total! I can hardly believe it myself! Battery wise this is still the same at 1400mAh but this time you have a USB Type C port which apparently charges at up to 0.8A charge rate. Even on the boost setting it is just OK. It is not horrendous let me make that clear, but it is just a bit lazy if that makes sense. Connect the microUSB port to a quality power supply and ensure the device is charged. The Sceptre can be turned on by pressing the main firing button 3 times rapidly.
