Our advisers can answer questions and talk you through a wide range of topics connected with disability, including: Very good piece of kitWorks very well. Straightforward to set up. Used to attach a spare mobile phone to a binocular microscope allowing children to view images. Good value and fast delivery. (14/11/2021) Chris McC - Hertfordshire Excellent product easy to use! I have found this v easy to set up. The limitations are more because of my equipment and my expectation of the size of the image. Fine adjustments are good but it is hard to align with a high powered eye piece. (09/08/2019) Colin -

been a while since I posted on here final got phone call today say my esa assessment be on phone on 8th of Sep anyone else had one yet ? How did it going really anxious ? about it and I’ve not been out since virus happen so scared. Most of the advice we’d give you if you were buying a set of binoculars also applies to monoculars. Price, size and weight are all going to be big considerations, but otherwise the key factors are the level of magnification and the size of the objective lens. This is the larger lens at the end of the monocular, and will usually have a size of between 25 and 55mm (any larger and you’re in telescope or spotting score territory). The bigger it is, the better it will be at gathering light, giving you a brighter, crisper image. The magnification speaks for itself. Monoculars tend to start at 7x magnification and go up through 8x and 10x to 12x and 15x. Hence, you’ll often see a monocular described as 8 x 25 or 10 x 42. Key specs – Optics: 8x magnification, 25mm objective lens, fully coated ED lenses; Field of view: 6.8°; Exit pupil: 2.5mm; Eye relief: 15.3mm; Close focus: 1.6m; Weatherproofing: Waterproofing; Accessories provided: Soft case, strap; Length: 11.1cm; Weight: 162g

Because the adapter is fitted to the eyepiece it can fit many optical devices easily, as long as the diameter of the eyepiece is between 26mm- 51mm it will work. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth is worth a million! The Phone Skope is capable of all the same features of your smartphone camera, which includes, photos, videos, slow motion videos, applying filters, etc. However, just as a thoroughly decent smartphone adaptor has arrived the game has changed, with now mainstream quad-camera smartphones presenting another big challenge that the Celestron NexYZ doesn’t quite overcome. An excellent smartphone adapter by Visionary for telesopes, binoculars, spotting scopes and microscopes, an ingenious design means this adapter allows easy imaging with your phone camera through virtually any optical instrument. A lightweight yet strong compact design with simple clamping to the eyepiece and adjustment of the phone camera position.

Excellent easy to use adapterI’ve tried other adapters and found them to be a real fiddle to use. This one is great, very easy to fit and adjust. (13/07/2019) Graham - Newcastle under Lyme Ollin is a magnetic digiscoping system that ensures perfect and secure alignment every single time, all within about a second. There are three main parts to the system: an eyepiece that goes over the ocular lens on your optic, a cover for that eyepiece, and a very low-profile case for your phone (Magcase). These pieces work together to provide the most streamlined and efficient digiscoping experience. Despite the 334g weight, it’s well balanced and easy to use single-handed, where you can adjust the focus with your fingertips using the smooth dial on the top. The eye-cup twists out to give a decent 18mm of eye relief, and you have the comfort of an armoured, waterproof construction, complete with a nitrogen filled chamber to prevent fogging. This is an affordable monocular that’s an absolute pleasure to use. One of the most frustrating things about previous digiscoping systems was getting the proper alignment from your phone to the optic. There was always some tweaking that took valuable time away from getting great footage. So why is the Celestron NexGO DX referred to as a ‘kit’? It comes with a Bluetooth remote. That’s it. Rather small and easy to lose, this CR2032 battery-powered thumb-remote does overcome one of the pain-points of afocal astrophotography. Touching the screen of a smartphone to take a photo is to be avoided when focusing on, say, the Moon (which is what we used the NexGO to capture). However, avoiding the inevitable wobble of doing so is actually very easy, the magic words being: “Hey Siri, take a photo.” Almost all smartphone cameras, iOS and Android, include both voice-control and shutter delay options. So the Bluetooth remote probably isn’t required. Scope helpline staff members are not qualified to give medical or legal advice. We are not trained benefits specialists and cannot offer case work or advocacy. In short, the system completely failed and left Nathan with subpar footage of a once-in-a-lifetime ram. He wanted something faster and more efficient to take advantage of these special moments. His answer is Ollin. (Photo/Josh Kirchner) Worth the moneyThis is worth the money and is very easy to use compared to cheaper alternatives The 3 axis control means fine tuning is easy and not fiddly to do. I could even adjust it with gloves on. Only slight negative. It is possible to open it too much when inserting phone but it’s easy to sort. (10/01/2021) David - Tobermory Scotland When I saw the Ollin, though, I felt like they heard my thoughts and made this product just for me. All of my complaints about digiscoping seem to be answered by this system. (Photo/Josh Kirchner)
