They come in 1 and 5 amounts; make change as needed. They are not counter-limited; use a replacement if you run out. I had no plans to have any Duration cards in this set, then somehow tried one, and then a couple more. The original one didn't make it but there are two Duration cards. The objection all these years was the amount of rulebook space Duration cards took in Seaside, but in Adventures that rulebook space was small enough to not seem so bad to repeat. Cards, until your next turn Moat. Can be rough when one player gets it going. Another version was +1 Buy +2 Cards.

When gain, reveal top 3, play the Actions/Treasures, discard the rest. Super Gamble, was super nuts. Then there was a one-card Gamble. Action phase: The player can play one Action card from their hand, following the card's printed instructions. By default only one Action card may be played, but some cards have instructions that give the player permission to play additional Action cards that same turn. A few versions of a hot potato - you pay to give it to the player to your left, and it punishes whoever has it (the Event, sitting in front of them). Again politics was an issue, but also it just wasn't creating good

Dominion Renaissance

Prosperity includes 25 randomizer cards (one for each Kingdom card in Prosperity). Players need the Treasure cards, Victory cards, Curse cards, and Trash card from either Dominion or a standalone expansion to Dominion (e.g., Dominion: Intrigue) to play with this expansion.

There is a dark shadow fallen over the court in your Dominion. Poisoners and conspiracy lurk in every shadow. Trust is rare and you never know if your friends are your enemies or if your enemies are super enemies. Overall Feel It is a time for celebration and excess. Good fortunes are on the way and it’s time to celebrate your kingdom’s wealth. The Cornucopia establishes your Dominion at the end of a good harvest, a time of plenty, and the card rules and the new cards (prizes) all fit the theme well. Overall Feel In addition, cards are divided into two groups: base cards, which are present in every game, and kingdom cards, of which each game has a different assortment. The base cards consist of Curse cards, three kinds of Treasure, and three kinds of Victory cards. Kingdom cards are mostly actions, but some have other types, including Treasure and Victory. There is one pile of each card in the game; once the pile is empty, players can no longer buy that card. Together, these cards form the supply. Note that a few cards from expansions change these rules. As with previous Dominion games, players must choose 10 sets of Kingdom cards for each game. If players choose the random approach for choosing sets, they should shuffle the randomizer cards from this expansion with those of any other Dominion games they choose to play with. This set, however, does a decent job of including a wide variety of cards. Eight of the cards give out horses – usually in multiples – which means you feel their presence in the game quite often. When anyone gains a card from that pile, move the token to the Trade Route mat. The number of tokens on the mat indicates how many coins Trade Route makes. In games with both Colony and Trade Route, Colony will get a token. Players will also have several types of tokens that are associated with some of the cards. Depending on what side of the particular token is facing up (heads or tails) then the card will have different effects. Card Upgrades Released in late 2010, Prosperity is the 4th addition to the Dominion game family. It adds 25 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, plus 2 new Basic cards that let players keep building up past Gold and Province. The central theme is wealth; there are treasures with abilities, cards that interact with treasures, and powerful expensive cards. Dominion has been praised for its speed and simplicity, as well as its strategic depth; there are many ways to win. Other reviewers have noted the game’s replayability. [8] However, it has been criticised as "almost abstract" for its weak theme, described as "multiplayer solitaire", and the theme has been criticised as generic, though a minor issue in the playability.
