Description

This comes in handy when traveling so that the flash can’t be accidentally turned on and drain the battery.

Another highlight for me is the improved 38-watt LED bulb modeling lamp versus the ten-watt on the original non-pro model. With this modeling lamp boost, the Pro model is much more versatile as well competitive to the high-priced alternatives. It also becomes useful outside of just dimly lit studios.

Pros

As you rotate through power levels, the bottom left corner shows the t.1 flash duration for the current setting, and will make it simple to see if you will be able to freeze action with your current settings. [Rewind:] Lumu Power Review | Turns Your Phone Into A Touchscreen Flash, Color Temp, and Chromaticity Meter Gute einstell Licht für Nacht Aufnahme ein muß. The customer may be charged with the costs of transport and diagnosis of the product if the product sent as part of the warranty complaint is functional or its defects result from improper use of the product. The Flashpoint XPLOR 600PRO is a solid contender for the higher priced flash models. The upper echelons still have name recognition, brand trust, and in Profoto’s case, rental house ubiquity, but Flashpoint is definitely making a splash with this strobe. It takes a leap of faith to take a budget-priced strobe on an important shoot, but I did it and survived to tell the story – and it’s a victorious one.

Because you're arguing semantics and making unreasonable demands, the AD600 pro is a completely redesigned product, there is no reason for them to price it the same. COMPLETE COMPATIBILITY - The Godox AD600 Pro is completely compatible with major camera brands. With full TTL connectivity for Canon E-TTL II, Nikon i-TTL autoflash, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus and Panasonic TTL autoflash systems, the AD600 Pro also has full support for 1/8000s High-Speed Sync for compatible cameras Defects that occur during the warranty period will be repaired free of charge, as soon as possible, which should not exceed 14 days from the date of accepting the equipment for repair. The deadline may be extended if the repair requires the import of spare parts and other random situations beyond the control of Godox. The final specs remain unchanged, as compared to the leak. It’s a 28.8v 2600mAh battery (vs 11.1v 8700mAh on the AD600), it has a recycle time of 0.01 to 0.9 seconds, which means at lower power (I’ve been told 1/16th and below) you can shoot a rapid 10 frames per second. Due to the change in battery, the maximum amount of full power flashes has been reduced from 500 to 360. As we move into the receiver units, these are not capable of being used on camera. They are also not brand-specific and will be fully-featured using any of the above transmitters and transceivers. Receivers

Cons

The Godox AD range of flash heads is by far the most popular of the Godox flash series and for good reason! Every light is powerful, portable, lightweight and exceptionally high quality, so it's no wonder that photographers are all looking to expand their kit using these lighting solutions. However, a few of the questions we often get asked are, what exactly is the difference between the lights in this series, what can each power level of the AD range get you, and which modifiers will these lights work with? To answer these questions, and more, we have created a comprehensive guide to buying your Godox AD flash head! Right from the outset, it’s clear that Godox has put some thought into making the AD400Pro flash even more transportable and convenient by providing a carry case with the unit itself – an accessory that the AD600Pro does not come with.

Whilst the AD600 Pro is a wireless flash, powered by rechargeable Li-ion Batteries, an AC adapter is available to create a mains-powered flash head. This AC adapter is great for studio work as it means that neither you nor your work is restricted by battery power on longer shoots. By offering the choice between mains or battery-powered, the AD600 Pro becomes an even more versatile, lighting option for all shoots! The controls are familiar. But the innovation is outstanding. News breaking features like: recycling in under a second at full power, super stable color output, real modeling light power from an LED, and integrated reflector while maintain the classic Bowens mount, and superior flashtube performance. The addition of interchangeable mounts on the AD400Pro gives you the versatility to be able to mix and match with the equipment that you’ve already invested in, which is a feature that no other strobe head on the market can do.

UPDATE 2022 – When released in early 2018 the XPLOR 600 PRO / Godox AD600 PRO TTL were another game changing light for Godox and Flashpoint, and set a new standard and direction for the lights to come. And they still remain at the top of their class today. I ended up swapping out the overhead light for an Elinchrom ELB 500 TTL, which weighs little more than a gasp of air, and the AD600 Pro was used for the accent light. Now bear in mind that this is my personal choice, because I'm lugging kit all over the country most days of the week, and a lot of my shoots end up requiring overhead lighting, such as food etc. You glossed over this, but the size difference is more than slight. There's a reason why I don't travel with my Godox AD600 Pro and choose the AD400 Pro instead and it's the size. It is the difference between fitting in my carry on or not. The FJ400 does have more battery, but that'd be something the photographer needs to decide is worth the extra size. And to correct your article, it's *480 shots at full power on the FJ400. Not 490. I switched to Godox Speedlights a few years ago because of the Li-ion batteries that allowed me to shoot long events without a battery change. It is true that stereo equipment sold in pieces (radio, amp, cassette player etc.) was always better than an all-in-one set (I am 56 so I remember that). However, I must disagree when it comes to lights.

Sehr schnellere Wiederholung, unter 1sek bei voller 600ws( das Schaft keine bis jetzt) , sehr intuitive Bedienung (sieht gut aus) high-speed -sync bis 1/8000 Mega toll. You can find the wireless triggers here– they are brand specific for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax, Olympus and Panasonic. Today we have a surplus of options at varying price points, from high-end Broncolor Siros and Profoto OCF lines, to less expensive products like the Orlit Rovelite and Dynalite Baja. What’s really interesting, is that in the current market price isn’t an indicator of feature set, and the most blatant breach of the traditional “the more you pay, the more you get” ethos can be found in the wildly popular Flashpoint battery-powered offerings. damage resulting from improper use or storage of the product not in accordance with the user manual and safety regulations I have to say, the weight was the only negative aspect I found with Godox AD600 Pro. Although the weight isn't particularly heavy at 3Kg, taking four or five on a location shoot could be tiresome, and bear in mind you also have to take 3Kg of ballast to counter-weight the boom arm too. Where the head is simply sat on top of a light stand, it was fine, and gave excellent results every time, making it a fantastic battery-powered strobe for location shots, such as this...On the downside the Pro has less shots per charge by around 25%. The 600BM's tube is more recessed in modifiers like boxes and so has reduced power from wastage. TT350 and V350: Mini speedlights that are designed to balance better with a smaller camera or mirrorless bodies. Both have TTL and HSS. The V350 uses a lithium-ion battery that lets it recycle faster and put out more flashes per charge, whereas the TT350 uses 2 AA batteries. Overall, the AD400Pro and AD600Pro are both amazing portable flashes that perform very well in both indoor and outdoor settings. TT600 and V850II: Full-size speedlights with no TTL, and are only HSS capable when used off camera. Again, the TT600 uses AA batteries while the V850II uses a lithium-ion battery for faster recycle times.
