Then, designate one student as the zombie and have them stand in the middle of the circle. Once the zombie is ready, call out a student’s name. The zombie heads toward that student, who must call out another student’s name before the zombie can tag them.The next person in the circle can say, “My name is [Alessandra] and I am 8 years old and this is Ms. Walker and she likes the color purple.” The child who was named will chant, “Who me?” The group should respond, “Yes, you!” The child should respond, “Couldn’t be!” The rest of the group responds, “Then who?” We can say, “ What is your name” when asking one person directly. Or we could say, “what is his/her name” when asking about someone. Once they have linked up and called out the correct name, the person on the far side must detach from their partner and become the person being chased. This way the person being chased is constantly changing.
