When using IR emitting points, with a webcam modified to filter ambient light and keep IR only, it compares to other solutions. I wonder if it’s possible to create a better solution in 2020, but I also understand that it is not a simple as it sounds. My hope is that MSFS2020 will create a much larger interest in the sim genre, and spur the development of newer and more innovative solutions. This is an excellent product. I mainly play flight simulators and it works very well with recent editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator. It also works very easily with Dovetail Flight School and Prepar3D. You need to turn on an in-game setting in X-Plane 10 but it works there as well, although not as well as the other mentioned games.
