So the best parts of this book are the parts that have brand new lore/information--stuff like the pre-game journal entries or the Fimbulwinter sections (which have me stressed for the new game, NGL. So many games have such rich lore that is sadly left to gather dust in the weeks and months following release. Again, here the descriptions are so short as to offer no interesting further insight and the strength/weakness information might have been useful when playing the game, not sure how useful it is now years after. com/For a bit of background - I loved the latest iteration of God of War in both the story and gameplay, and ended up collecting every possible Playstation Trophy for the game.

I would have preferred covering more of the side missions, seeing more of the treasure maps and other items collected and less "throw your axe at this monster", but overall it's a nice companion to "The Art of God of War". They had to camp out in a hall for six days, and when they came out, everything was frozen and covered in snow. He also thought about his father and mother's different approaches when it came to meeting others- his father told him to close his heart to enemies, and his mother told him to keep an open heart. In addition, it contains illustrations and commentary from the artists who worked on the game, as well as information about the creation of the main characters, Kratos and Atreus. Before, Mimir explained how people felt a special kind of hate for the ones who kill their children, and that it was possible Freya could come to forgive them, given time. At one point, Atreus was able to carry two buckets of water, which showed he was getting stronger from his illness- but he was also angry because he thought his father considered him weak, like he had to take care of Atreus all the time.

They talked more about how the vole felt, and also recent developments in Wildwoods, like the wolf packs falling sick and mysterious ravens in the distance. He knew that after he found out he was a god, he started to act arrogant and cocky, even to the point of killing Modi. One of the things I appreciated most about this book was how it shed light on some of the more obscure aspects of the games. Then he explained that Freya came to visit him after they'd gone to Jotunheim, asking questions about Odin and the Valkyrie Wings that indicated she was going to reclaim her warrior spirit.
