Description

I think, if you are already committed to Ableton’s ecosystem, it doesn’t make sense to also go AKAI if your goal is to finish music (play, exploration, and fun – that’s a different story). controller for DAW-centric creative exploration, MPC 2 Software delivers the ultimate in adaptive creative versatility. But I am a bit more interested in the feel of the hardware workflow than the comparison between Reason and Live (that would be a separate thread, probably).

Working on the overall levels and some eq is inevitable in the creation process for me, otherwise I won’t “feel” the groove. However, with the plethora of effects and plugins, one could create mix and master a song totally in the box. Eight freely configurable CV/Gate outputs allow the connection between the MPC Live II and a modular system. The DLC stuff is likely too lucrative to cut off the existing user base from the ones they add in V3.Something I've criticised about the MPC is the sometimes disjointed nature of its various views and modes.

It wouldn’t make sense for me to jump into AKAI’s ecosystem of hardware, software, and plugins because it gives me some vague sense that it will somehow make me more productive, creative, fulfilled, …? With 5 decades of experience, Akai Professional continues to empower music creators with the innovative technology needed to make inspiring music. In this video series, we’ve tackled every function and feature to make it possible for you to master the MPC workflow in no time at all. One youtuber thinks its a stand-alone MPC Studio, which concerning Akai's track record, just might be. If you're a sample hoarder, then you'll appreciate being able to hook up any hard drive (HDDs and SSDs) via the 2. The launcher view is your typical 8x8 grid of tappable clip slots, complete with animated loop progress bars in each clip.
