As a long term Marvel fan (films, characters and the comics/graphic novels) I was so excited when I was granted access to an ARC copy of Marvel Avengers Ant-Man: Look Out For The Little Guy. You will not be prepared for the knowledge and truth bombs that our eminent and most favourite Ant guy will bestow upon you. Even if Paul Rudd himself had half-assed a single paragraph it would’ve been a delight to read compared to this garbage. The book is just a retelling of what happened in the Marvel movies, except there’s a twist: Scott wasn’t there for any of it!

It was a great trip down memory lane to be able to experience the magic of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a completely different yet creative way. Look Out for the Little Guy is a novel about Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, from the Marvel comics/movies. Sure, there are still things I would have preferred otherwise - there's far too much on the underwhelming 'Civil War' and not nearly enough Luis - but on the whole it's an entertaining read.Thank you on behalf of Marvel fans for a well written timeline of events from Scott Lang's point of view. The book is also written very tangentially- it bounces between moments a lot - which while a little unsettling does fit with the character of Scott Lang. It was a great book and featured frequently asked questions sections, photographs of the different characters, and the occasional note from another person, for example, Scott’s daughter, with a story about her dad. We get a first person perspective on the final battle with Thanos, but sadly, he didn’t reveal how he shrunk down, went up Thanos’ butt and became Giant-Man to end (see what I did there) him. It also comes across a bit self helpy and introspective, with Scott reflecting on the impact of the decisions he made along the way and how these affected his life.

Scott Lang reminisces on his time in prison and his exploits with VistaCorp fighting the good fight but going down for the crime.Look out for the little guy’ is written so well with a great balance of humour and honestly thought provoking introspection.

Look Out for the Little Guy is the in-movie memoir by Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, that he’s written and shared with the world, as seen onscreen in the new Marvel Studios film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.However it is a very fun time and I just find it hilarious that I actually got to read the "in-movie memoir" from a Marvel film, it's just so random and bizarre I love it! Okay onto the more important details…SCOTT LANG I LOVE YOU ❤️ I totally heard him narrating this book to me in my head. Scott Lang shares with the world a bracingly honest account of his struggles and triumphs, from serving time to being a divorced dad to becoming Ant-Man and joining the Avengers. I loved finding out what ‘Ant-Man’ had been thinking during certain scenes in the movies he was in, and what happened surrounding these events. This is a memoir and as you will get if you know who that is, it's a humorous one with little truths sprinkled all over.
