Though a small number of songs could slip through the cracks the majority of the album consists of songs that should feature permanently in your playlists. It has an acoustic start with a slow tempo which takes a complete turn when an unsuspecting tempo change hits the listener taking away a sense of predictability that might be expected from this genre of music. But listeners will struggle to find a more heartfelt tribute to a home than This Place, the reassuring feel everyone gets whenever a front door is opened set to words, little parochialisms and love wrapped into infectious togetherness, optimism and hope. cyberpunk cycling Cyclist D2D Daddy's home 2 Daft Punk Dahab Daisy Godfrey dakar rally Dakota Johnson dalgona Damien Rice dance Dancing on my Own Dane Paterson danger Daniel Craig danielcraig danny and the champions of the world danny boyle Danny Willett Dark dark knight darthvader darts dating Dave Dave Alnwick david brent David Ross David Silva Davidattenborough davyjones Dawn FM day in the life Day out Days Gone DC DC comics Deaf Havana deafawarenessweek deals Dean Lewis Dear April death Death Angel debate Debbie Harry Debut album defamation deforestation degree del toro deliveroo demi lovato demonstration Denmark deontay wilder department for education depop derby derby county derbyshire Derbyshire Falcons Derek Owusu Dermot Kennedy design designer detonate DevolverDigital DfE DHP dhp family diabetes Diabetes Awareness Month Diana Ross dicaprio Die Hard diehard diet dinner Dior Dipti directions director directors Dirty Computer dirty dancing disability disaster Discloure discount discounts discrimination disney disney + disney plus disneyland disneyplus disneyplusday disposable fashion diversity diy DJ django Djokovic dlc DMA'S Dnb dnd Do Nothing docks Doctor Who Documentaries documentary dodgeball dodie dogs dollyparton don quixote don't worry darling donald trump dose of colors Dot 2 Dot Dot 2 Dot Festival Dot To Dot Dot To Dot 2022 Dot to Dot Festival Dot To Dot Festival 2018 Dot To Dot Festival 2023 dottodot doughnuts doughtnotts download festival DPH drag race dragon Dragon Ball Drake drama dramasociety dream scenario dream team Dream Wife dream-pop Dreamgirls Dreamland DreamWorks Drenge dress up drill Drink drink spiking drinking drinking culture drinkinganddriving drinks driving drops drugs drum and bass dryden centre ds Dua Lipa dublin Dubrovnik Dude duffer brothers Duke of Edinburgh Duke of Sussex dune dungeons and dragons Durham Dylan Fraser Dylan O'Brien e-scooter E. Webster cuts more to the chase than his forebears though, saying We Get By, ‘documents and asks questions of the struggles, joys and escapes of everyday working-class life.

The next song and a personal favourite of mine is Living for Yesterday which is already one of Webster’s singles. The Joker’ tells a story of loss, with the lyrical content being placed front-and-centre, and only simple accompanying guitar instrumentation.

We carry a broad range of CDs and vinyl (7”/12” singles and LPs) and specialise in indie, alternative, rock, punk, metal plus a few other genres. The first song on the album is Down The Road, it gives you a clear impression of the style of music that Webster is going to grace the listener with through this album.

Stop Living Blind’ and ‘Somethings Gotta Give’ offer a more mellow and laid back side to Webster, illustrating the range of the project. Two years later we made the move to our present address, 35 The Headrow, where we have remained ever since. Whatever the story, there’s much of the past in his music, a conscious anachronism in an era when the present is constantly trying to erase itself.

Though Liverpool seems to be very aware of the 24-year-olds talent, this album is set to capture the rest of the nation soon enough.

The message of hope is an important one that should resonate with everyone who is struggling through these strange times. Similar to Cinnamon, Webster tells the story of the working class people describing not only the struggles but the glory of the lifestyle that a lot of our nation are living.
