The Verdict: While Opal has been my number-one-go-to-highlighter through the winter and spring, the more golden Champagne Pop is the perfect color for summer. After you posted about Becca shimmering pore perfecters last month I went out and bought 2, one liquid ( in topaz) and one powder (can’t remember name, it’s a taupe one). People were wondering how similar Champagne Pop is to Becca Moonstone or Opal and also how it compares to The Balm Mary Lou. So if you don’t own any of the Becca highlighters Champagne Pop is a great shade to get since Becca claims that it would suit most skin tones. The color is described as a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones and it’s exactly how it appears on my skin.

I only got this due to this being one of the best highlighters out there and it isn't disappointing at all. It is fast becoming a holy grail, that my sun kissed champagne cheeks are wondering how they ever did without.

The Opal colorway swatches slightly too bright (looked almost like a shimmery blush or light bronzer) on me, even with my summer tan. Regarding the crushed pan in the pic above that looks like it spent a rough night with Matthew McConaughey, that’s one of the major bummers about this highlighter. Champagne Pop is the perfect shade for summer skin and the stick also has a gorgeous summery fragrance.
