The volume of the Airdyne chirp is adjustable all the way down to zero, while the Rogue Echo chirp is one volume and cannot be turned off at all. It seemed excessive at first, until you do a workout that you’re pacing and the ability to see your current RPM is very helpful. Elapsed time seems to slow down on this machine, our bodies told us we'd been working out for more than 5 minutes, but the screen doesn't lie; the workout can be laborious.

I would say the Schwinn Airdyne Pro has a higher pitched whine, which I would guess is due to the difference in how the two fans are designed. In saying that though, the answer to the title question ultimately hinges on your exercise aspirations.The belt drive system combined with the overall build quality makes the AD Pro superior to the rest. As you work the pedals and handles on an air bike, the fan rotates and moves air just like a normal fan. But unlike the Airdyne Pro, I’m unable to stand fully upright on the Echo without having the handlebars hit me just below my ribs.
