My office is a 10×12 room and can promise you that its enough to satisfy your craving for full sound. No matter how I positioned the Kanto’s this effect was always there and it really made my daily computer use better. I found that even at fairly significant volumes, the YU2 speakers didn’t distort and the sound retained significant clarity. The issue I have with a sub in 2-channel, as opposed to AV use, is that the speakers will have beeb carefully designed and balanced to produce a particular sonic envelope.I used the optical input on the back to connect my TV, and everything got better — I could hear dialogue better, soundtracks were more present, and the sub made sound effects more immersive. I was not even the one to pick the color, as my colleague Aaron Lai chose it, but I am happily surprised to see how nice it looks. It was at this point that I decided to wind in the YU4 speakers (at least in terms of distance) and listen to them in a near-field environment.
