There was this incredible guy Bezalel who God chose to lead a team of creatives, he was filled with Gods Spirit, wisdom, understanding, knowledge and all kinds of skills to make artistic designs which would form the place where God met with his people and worship happened. This is a great resource for anyone interested in the facts and figures about Biblical people, places, and events. She is passionate about engaging a visual generation and reaching both a Christian and non-religious audience. I love detail, meaning and purpose, which is why I love infographics, everything on the page has meaning and purpose down to the minutiae.

This book invites you to interact with God’s life-giving word in a fun and relevant way inside these pages. Having worked in central London, she now continues to flourish as a creative amongst the Northern Hills, still loving paper, people and life to the full. That detailed brief given by God in Exodus took skill, patience and perseverance to execute and only with anointing, producing something of excellence for his Glory alone! HarperCollins had already published successful Infographic books like ‘Information is Beautiful’ by David McCandless and were considered industry leaders in this genre, their next step was to produce a Bible in this format!

Not only was it in this visual language which is particularly helpful for those who are visual learners like me, it was to be part of a prestigious set of infographic books by HarperCollins but most of all it was about Jesus… unbelievably above and beyond what I ever dared to dream or hope or imagine! The Infographic Bible collection celebrates beauty and faith, believing the Bible is one of the key places we connect with God and His heart for relationship with us. The project was released to me at a key stage in my journey of relationship with God and without the foundations I had in knowing his character and ways it would have been impossible. The way all of the material has been laid out makes understanding timelines, interlinking narratives and links between books , how prophesies from the old testament are fulfilled in the new - nuances of language - and much much more are included with exceptional depth and clarity. Covering important topics of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, “The Infographic Bible” contains graphics ranging from simple to complex, and will take varying levels of concentration and effort to decipher.

Again I had an incredible team, some illustrator contributors and supporters who came in for a few specific graphics, then a couple of guys who were core design, working with me throughout the whole 5 years; there was another designer and an amazing illustrator intern who volunteered one day a week.Postage-stamp size, this doesn’t tell you much; but, seen as a large two-page spread, it would reveal itself as a diagram ( see above) about the “wisdom, initiative, and opportunity” of women of influence in the Old Testament, produced with the aim of “engaging a visual generation”. It was my delight to art direct and refine the whole project and with the exception of 16, I was also the designer and illustrator. So, let me close with this photo of the one page of that index, to give you another insight into the variety you can find in this infographic treat. Brilliant item in itself, brought as a gift but unfortunately it turned up with marks on the front and back of the cover. That can often look like being a pain or sometimes be mistaken for perfectionism, but for me excellence is life giving!

Having said that there are some useful images, and there are some which I might want to refer to if a specific question came up. If journaling seems like work disguised as fun—like washing a car or shearing sheep—do not be afraid! Conceptual designer, illustrator and lover of all things paper and ink, Karen Sawrey is passionate about engaging a visual general with creative ways to see and digest information.When I began to co-create with our Creator God Elohim it was incredible and opened doors in the industry that looked unbelievably impossible, I know his affirming and delight as I create with him. While I've learned many of the facts presented over the years, seeing them in graphic form was eye-opening. These colorful creations visually depict the key concepts, important people, and most unusual facts from the Bible in a new and exciting way.
