When I opened the package, I found the lightweight Montane Prism booties and immediately slipped them on to see about fit.

The 100% windproof Pertex Microlight rip-stop outer is exceptionally tough and durable, and has excellent water repellency levels to protect your feet even in the damp boot room. Where product tags have been removed, even if they have been re-attached, Mountain Kit will not be able to refund the product. PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation is the pinnacle of comfort and performance - the highest performing synthetic insulation available. We do not offer to reimburse postage costs if an item doesn't fit / you don't like it / change of mind etc. The Pertex Microlight shell and PrimaLoft Gold insulation make these booties more water-resistant than most, and the brushed-fleece lining is soft against bare feet, in case you want to let those dirty socks air out.

PrimaLoft® GOLD Insulation with Grip in the inner sole panel provides better stability and prevents insulation slipping. Whilst this sole is tough, we would recommend limiting the Bootie to indoor/tent use where possible, although it should stand up to a late night bathroom trip if needed. Despite the wet grass brushing against the outer shell during the couple hundred meter walk from our ger to the dining ger, the inside of the booties stayed completely dry.

The Prism Bootie from Montane allows you to put your hiking boots aside and treat your feet to a little quality time. The sole is made of good material and should handle most surfaces without issue as it is durable material.

People say they are a bit tight to get on,I didn't find that to be the case,I have quite slim ankles though. Take them with you on an expedition in the Himalaya or a multi-day adventure in the Scottish Cairngorms.
