About this deal

All the tracks are still listenable, but it's annoying that a new vinyl like this would be so poorly pressed. For me, the best sound is in white and pink-purple, they are the cleanest, without unfilled places, without noise. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Following the success of her acclaimed 2021 releases, 'Chemtrails Over The Country Club' and 'Blue Banisters,' 'Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd' continues to showcase Lana Del Rey's evocative storytelling and musical brilliance. If people think my music is good it’s because there’s other people involved in the songs and in the process of making it.

However, watching many of these response videos made me wonder if Lana had really, personally experienced what we were all picking up from some of her songs on this particular album. I have all 6 editions of this album on vinyl (white, two Black editions, pink-purple, green and red). Sixteen tracks weighing in at seventy-eight minutes can seem dense on first encounter, so if you don't have the patience or inclination to take the time, it probably isn't for you.

Limited edition [D2C] exclusive includes alternative artwork and heavyweight solid white colour vinyl. While it might feel very heavily niche in parts after ‘Blue Bannisters’ it does, however, feel more nourishing and uplifting-ly beautiful and haunting as ‘Norman F Rockwell’. As reported in the Official Vinyl Albums Chart Top 40, less than a month after its release, ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ sold over 20,800 copies on the format. Whenever starting to play the album, I end up feeling compelled to listen to it all the way through.

Shortly after the album's announcement, Del Rey shared a typewritten letter where she thanked her friends who helped make the album, including Father John Misty and Antonoff. The title track is a slow atmospheric number that sneaks up on the listener with thought-provoking lyrics.Limited edition Indies exclusive includes alternative artwork and heavyweight light green colour vinyl. Limited edition Indies exclusive includes alternative artwork and heavyweight light green colour vinyl also Standard heavyweight black double vinyl in gatefold sleeve. Normally it can feel unnecessary and cash-grabby when an artist releases so many variants, but all of the variants of this record are made with so much love and taste, any one you grab has such beautiful photography and artwork. Played it again last night, dead quiet pressing other than a few pops, sounds vibrant enough and not a single skip.
