Description

The configuration software has a 'rapid trigger ' feature that lets you set the release travel distance of individual switches. The CORSAIR Gaming K70 is a fully mechanical gaming keyboard with CHERRY® MX Red key switches, contoured FPS control keys, key-by-key customizable backlighting, and full key matrix anti-ghosting with full key rollover on USB. Low Profile RAPIDFIRE Mechanical Gaming Keyboard combines the comfort of low-profile, low travel keys, with the performance of ultra-fast Cherry MX mechanical keyswitches and stunning RGB lighting. If you're familiar with mechanical gaming keyboards and know what you’re looking for, the K70 Core should be on your radar, although it doesn’t beat the Razer Ornata V2 for our top budget gaming keyboard recommendation.

Dual-point actuation lets you assign two discrete actions to one keypress, giving you the ability to execute instant one-two combos. The Corsair K95 RGB PLATINUM XT and the Corsair K70 RGB PRO are both wired, mechanical gaming keyboards, but the K70 performs slightly better overall. The Corsair K70 RGB PRO and the Corsair K70 MAX are full-size gaming keyboards in the same product lineup. It's part of Corsair's K70 lineup and has a few notable differences from other keyboards in this series. The lack of a battery—required for a wireless connection—usually means a lighter keyboard, but the K70 Core weighs in at 2 pounds, hefty enough to help it remain in place when you're typing or mashing. It uses PBT keycaps instead of ABS, and it doesn't include extra keycaps, as some previous versions of the K70 did, as the legends aren't going to wear off. For reference, you can see an image of this exact style of spacebar installed on the very similar Corsair K65 PRO MINI, here.

There are several actions that could trigger this block including submitting a certain word or phrase, a SQL command or malformed data. Equipped with smooth 100-million-keystroke CHERRY MX Red keyswitches with a modular design, easily replaceable with any combination of MX-compatible switches to fine-tune your keyswitch layout and play your way. This keyboard also makes other minor changes over its predecessor, the Corsair K70 RGB PRO, including a much higher quality wrist rest now made of plush leatherette material rather than plastic. Using the iCue software utility, profiles can be added and modified with new lighting effects, key assignments, and polling rates. It also has a "Tournament Switch" on the top, eliminating distractions while gaming by disabling macros and setting the RGB backlighting to a single, static color.
