About this deal

I did find the plot had many similarities to other novels of this genre and I anticipated the resolutions. I will never forget the day I came home from junior high school to find my mom waiting for me with one of the Harlequin novels from my stash.

A well thought out and intruiging plot with several twists - I did however guess the main plot twist, but will give nothing away by saying anything further! No One Saw It Coming by Susan Lewis is a story about Hannah and her family, who seem to live the perfect life and then events change and reality means that no one can escape from the reality of life and death. Driven by intrigue around an upper-middle-class couple and their circle of friends, an undercurrent of unease pervades the story, with escalating menace seeping through their day-to-day lives of dinner parties, lunches, and doing charitable work.A surprisingly different read from Susan lewis, that draws you in from the start and keeps you enthralled with twists and turns and a very unexpected ending that I totally didn’t expect! And as we continue to cover the economic recovery, this will continue to be a constant theme here: beating back against the " no one saw it coming" conventional wisdom by honoring those that did get it right, and shining a light on those who, even now, might be getting it wrong. But I persevered and it did have a good end and as the name of the says “No One Saw it Coming” , they sure didn’t.

I did not see the ending coming although I had picked up hints that something was not quite right where one character was concerned.Following periods of living in Los Angeles and the South of France, she currently lives in Gloucestershire with her husband, James, and her dog, Mimi. THE AUTHOR: Susan Lewis is the bestselling author of over forty books across the genres of family drama, thriller, suspense and crime. No one saw it coming illustrates so well that their are secrets in every family but some have a far greater magnitude than others with far reaching consequences. The mounting sense of a twist did keep me reading, but found this to be lacking in this author's normal high standards. Susan Lewis is the internationally bestselling author of over forty books across the genres of family drama, thriller, suspense and crime.

Today we publish some of the world's foremost authors, from Nobel prize-winners to worldwide bestsellers recent successes including the Booker-winning Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies by Hilary Mantel, and George RR Martin's blockbusting A Song of Ice and Fire series. The first half of the book is pretty straightforward, and again, I felt like it read like a book for younger audiences. Susan Lewis fans will eat this one up, I would also recommend to those who like family sagas and complex characters where there is no black and white come the end. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how visitors move around the site. The plot line I guessed relatively quickly and I think this was part of the frustration with the slow pace. With family drama at its heart, Susan Lewis’ No One Saw It Coming is a snappy, compelling crime novel for readers who relish being swept up in the complex, tangled lives of others. Following periods of living in Los Angeles and the South of France, she currently lives in Gloucestershire with her husband, James and her dog, Mimi. The first half was slightly slow but I liked getting to know the characters and their dynamics - even though I didn’t find any of the characters super likeable!

The pacing is steady and everything builds to an exciting conclusion in this tale of family relationships. As the secrets are revealed with family and friends on the suspect list, an interesting twist takes the story in a completely different direction. You also get occasional chapters from Blanche, who is initially not connected to the story until the author ties everything together. I don't mean that in a negative way :)) I thought it wrapped up to a satisfying conclusion and would definitely read more by this talented storyteller. She has such a beautiful, infectious smile; her eyes shine with humour and kindness; her skin is lightly freckled and smooth. However, the family dynamic isn’t the most straightforward and there are lots of secrets being withheld.
