I wish the ADLW looked the same a couple of hours later, but it just doesn't appear quite as in tact and lovely as sheer glow does for me. I first saw beautycrush, use this base and then Shaanxo and it didn't take me long to pick it up myself! I also reach for it when I'm going out for a couple of hours and I really want a full coverage base.

An important point I need to make with regards to the formula is that I have a fairly strong feeling that this foundation is breaking me out, I'm pretty sure it's this foundation because I've been testing it for a month now and my skin is really congested and spotty now, it wouldn't surprise me to be honest because the Sheer Glow breaks me out too. With this foundation I've realised I need to be well moisturised hence why I reckon this foundation isn't great for those with dry dehydrated skin, not only that I also need to make sure that the moisturiser has been applied well in advance and has had the chance to absorb into my skin properly or else I find the foundation slides around a lot and just doesn't mesh with the skin. It’s probably the thickest formula of all the NARS foundations I’ve tried and takes a bit of experimentation to get a smooth application.I’ve tried around five different bases with this formula and find that the NARS primers work best with this one.

There’s no escaping it here and even with sunscreen, hats and trying to stay in the shade I still tan easily. I should add that my skin isn't at its best right now (especially now because of this foundation probably) I have quite a bit of texture and bumps and am quite dehydrated too. Right now on me it lasts all day but it’s not transfer-proof if you touch your face (ie fingers or to sunglasses). and my skin looks the same colour as when I applied it, it's stayed where I put it and I can rely on this to photograph gorgeously. A blend of botanical extracts and antioxidants helps control the appearance of excess sebum to prevent shades from shifting due to oxidation.
