The real problem tonally that could be fixed with EQ is the boundary gain, where the woofer and it's reflection start acting like one source. The larger of the two, the IK Multimedia iLoud MTM, is a mid-range, close-range monitor that focuses on accurate sound reproduction and neutral tones. Sound carried over it is decent too, not as clean as from wired connection but does not lack any details either.

Given the short distance to such monitors though, it is easy to go over the thresholds listed so use the tilt mechanism built into the base to point the tweeter at you.

For creatives looking for a speaker which more budget-friendly, the iLoud MTM is the essential choice! This spacial consideration is probably why the designers opted for an external power block, and decided not to include a headphone amp and socket. There are EQ options for low and high shelf, as well as a desk mode to be used when the speakers are on a desk surface without stands. I'm hearing balanced bass response to the 50Hz range - this performance is completely unreasonable for a speaker this size. They just sounded like I would have adjusted an EQ to make them sound good at lower to medium levels.
