They can just put on a fragrance and go stand by a fire and will get better longevity and projection. What I love about this, aside from the beautiful L'homme Ideal DNA, is the sharpness in the original version.

If you remove the prominent (sweetened from tonka) almond note you have pretty much L'Oreal Men Expert Barber Club grooming products scent!It has a fresh nuance that contributes to proposing a wider range of situations where you can safely wear L'Homme Idéal like a signature scent, office fragrance, leisure situations, dinners, conventions, receptions, weddings, dining out, dates, intimacy. It's a light scent and you get cherry and leather but it's hard to pick up the vanilla and almond notes. Its a shame because this is really smooth, unique, feel good scent but can't believe how fast is disappears. I’m still very intrigued by the edp tho as I love the idea of cherries in a fragrance, which is pretty rare.

Just joking, but this is nothing like Bentley intense men or Dior homme, this is an extremely well blended fragrance very very smooth, just the right dose of sweetness, almond, cherry, leather, exceptionally well blend. L'Homme Idéal EdT does remind me of certain fragrances like Armani's Code Profumo, Mugler's Pure Havane, Azzaro Pour Homme Intense and SpiceBomb, but without being similar to none.

That said, I am very curious to smell the Intense version, as I can imagine warm spices and amped up leather taking this sweet almond composition in interesting ways. If tales like this are not to be believed, at least know that those who find themselves in the wake its sillage will at the very least assume he who wears this EDP to be such a man. Honestly I think Ideal EDP is rather versatile because it’s not aggressive, perhaps not for the hottest weather but still versatile. So tired of reading ridiculous comments like "blah-blah-blah, I'm doing 10 sprays and feel nothing, it is watered down. The top notes reveal a generic citrus accord and a heavier floral orange blossom that blends naturally with the fragrance DNA in the heart phase.
