About this deal

The most common thing I see in the reviews is "realistic grapefruit", and this is what you should take away from the reviews.

The grapefruit still lingers, just not as prominently, and the musk and vetiver are more noticeable, but that's the best part of the fragrance for me. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH).All that I’ve been hearing about Forever, is just how realistic the grapefruit note is in this fragrance. As a soapmaker/oil perfume designer, I know that the top notes will have no lasting power without a good anchor, like bergamot, litsea cubeba/verbana in it; but I also know that citrus oils make you sensitive to the sun and, at least in my industry, there is a firm limit to how much citrus you can put in a fragrance. Fragrance enthusiasts are more likely going to appreciate this fragrance more than a guy who just wants to smell good. I got 4 hours with this and personally Light Blue intense is probably the better fragrance between the two.

If you spray this on a test strip and come back to it 24 hours later you'll still be able to pick it up. The Intense has a little bit better lasting power/same sillage but the citrus character is toned down and it's also more round, less harsh, almost unisex. Still, it's a solid Light Blue flanker and if you enjoyed the original or Eau Intense, you will enjoy this. So, the original EDT is more of a woody, kind of green (because of bamboo) and soft white musky character. The grapefruit gets all the shine but the rich, smooth, and just a touch smoky vetiver and violet leaf in the base is just as jaw-dropping in my opinion. It's one of the best most realistic grapefruit notes I've smelt, this definitely for me has a few similarities with the new Terre De Hermes Givre', in terms of the citrus up top. Light orange blossoms are sitting close to the skin, and only if you stick your nose to the arm or t-shirt, you’ll remember that it’s there. Discover a new twist to the iconic signature for Light Blue Forever Pour Femme – a sunny and sensual feminine Eau de Parfum fragrance that evokes memories of long summer days by the Mediterranean Sea. While the original is a little more fresh and ‘harsh’ you know not harsh but screechy, the forever version is more mild with a little touch of something different that could be from the blood orange or some of the flowers.

So I always have a bottle of the original or intense but it was running low so I bought this one instead and I’m so glad I did. The fragrance opens with Light Blue's signature fresh top notes, an addictive duo of crisp Granny Smith apple and tangy Calabrian lemon, extracted using the traditional 'sfumatrice' technique which allows the lemon to be expressed in its entirety.I reapplied it before going out around ten, I didn't shower when I got home, and when I got up at nine the next morning I could still smell it on my skin.

I'm digging it, I like it a lot, at some point, 20 mins on maybe, I get some sweeter musks coming up. I have to literally spray it 10 times (wrists, elbows, decolté, behing knees, behind ears, behind neck) for someone to be able to smell it at a decent distance (that is not having their nose 2cm from my skin). On the other hand, Forever gets sweeter (floral sweet, orange blossom ish plus other non-saccharine sweet florals) plus the lemony dry down of OG Light Blue and less Italian Zest.
