After hearing that the twisted sisters are planing to start a new MF series in the style of Zodiac Academy (2 FMcs and 2 MMcs) I was over the moon and expected to have a new series to obsessed over.Such a shame, I really love their other series's, this was was just really not for me, at least not right now. Throw in a mysterious prophecy, a villain you want to throat punch, and a cadre of layered characters, and you’ve got the framework for a literary home run for first book in this intriguing new series. Admittedly I have not read many of the Twisted Sisters back catalogue mostly sticking to the stories set in the Zodiac Academy universe but I can definitely see repeated character types and an unoriginality to the crude humour they’ve also used in this book.
