Description

Features of the Mini Micron Bite Alarm include; a volume control button with four settings as well as a tone control button, also with four settings. This allows you to customise your alarm to your preferences and surroundings. For example, late-night angling where there are neighbouring anglers may call for a lower tone and volume for minimal disturbance. The Piezo Speaker also ensures for crisp sound. Out of interest do they hold the settings so if you put the heads on silent volume setting will they remain like that necmxt time you turn off and on again?

Complement your Fox Bite Alarms with a Fox Receiver System. These systems allow you to receive alerts from multiple alarms at once, making it a must-have accessory for anglers seeking a streamlined and efficient angling setup. Can't fault mine so far. Good functionality, imo they look quite tidy and yet to miss a beat. So far very happy with them With its user-friendly design and customisable settings, the Fox Mini Micron is an exceptional tool for any angler looking for an edge in their fishing game. Its compact size and lightweight make it easy to carry around with you on your fishing trips.Functions all work well, only criticism are the tones, not brilliant, assuming the speaker is an area they saved money on.

I alternate between my mini microns and my mini micron X, only really using the X if im sleeping as most of my fishing is short sesh. Got them and had a play to get some idea of the range. Obviously new batteries in heads and receiver. Fox Bite Alarms and Receivers are engineered with utmost precision, ensuring accurate detection of line movement or vibrations. With Fox's innovative technology, anglers can rely on these devices to provide timely alerts for every bite. I had rx+ and they are a different beast, just downsized to save some money. i dont think any other brand matches fox right now on the alarm front. RX+ best out there and micron x best value for money. The D-Tec Sensing System/Roller wheel technology is a game-changer in bite detection. With this technology, you can be confident that you won't miss a bite, even in the most challenging conditions. The rubber inlays on the bite alarm protect your rod and ensure it stays in place, preventing any damage or loss of equipment. A modern re-worked version of the old school classic Mini Micron Bite Alarm boasting a number of great new features including receiver technology.

Build quality wise seem decent, not amazing and definitely not in same league as the new Dells, but seem solid. Not as shiny as they looked in some pictures. I like the longer ears too, always thought they should make them longer, my only criticism of fox alarms, other than that, been very reliable for me over the years Has anyone tried to set all 3 alarm heads with the same colour LED i.e. Red and if so did all 3 alarms register on the receiver? if its 20m then its a no go for me. not because i go that far, but my tent is often behind bushes on on an elevation. If the range really is 20m, that means the signal is too weak for my type of fishing.

I bought another receiver and the additional alarm sync immediately but the 2 rod set ones dont sync with that receiver. They're not competing with top end alarms, but are well worth 200 quid for 3 and receiver in my mind. For night-time angling adventures, Fox Illuminated Bite Alarms provide excellent visibility and clear bite indication. Equipped with bright LED lights, these bite alarms make it easier for you to detect any action on your line, even in low-light conditions. That's not the alarms fault though, user error surely as they must be set too sensitive for the conditions. I know defiant mps buzz bars used to have internal grub screws like you say dont know if they still do.

Really like the look of these. Has anyone gone from Nash r3’s to these and would recommend me doing the same? Cheers How Should I determine if these alarms suitable for my fishing this way? fishing from lodge, or on an elevation? I really can't see Fox only having a 20m range, they've always had one of the strongest and most reliable receivers, even my old MMXR'S went further than that 15 years ago lol. Looks like Fox do something with the settings for the sets which kind of makes them useless should you develop a fault.
