Description

The Three 4G Hub has two antenna ports, which you can plug in external antennas, if you choose to do so. The two LTE SUB ants are probably the remainder MIMO connections (which is useful to know) and the Sub Ant is probably diversity.

Strangely enough this morning I was able to reset the admin password using the framework, so lesson there perhaps when turning the router off it needs more than a few seconds. I suppose if this earlier image is correct then we can figure out which external antenna is bridged to which internal antenna which gives us an idea of identifying two of the internal.

Not sure what the RF connectors on the radio module have to offer, elsewhere it was mentioned that the middle one is for a secondary (internal) antenna covering all bands. msm_pcie_probe: msm_pcie_probe: PCIe: RC0 is not enabled during bootup; it will be enumerated upon WAKE signal. We’ll start by looking at how the 4G Hub works and at the best plans and offers currently available on it. I think this device has a lot of potential but the restrictive software interface lets it down a bit.

I think it was a combination of hunger, tiredness and hours of bad luck that caused frustration yesterday sorry. There is probably a way to fetch more details related to firmware ID for each partition via serial or AT command or maybee even if you view the source code while in firmware view you may see more details. Don't despair, I spent a lot of time as well flashing and reflashing with different versions (both OpenWRT and Nordic) until I got it working. ol_regdmn_start: reg-domain param: regdmn=0, countryName=, wModeSelect=FFFFFFFF, netBand=FFFFFFFF, extendedChanMode=0.In some cases, you might not be able to get 4G home broadband, even if you’re within Three’s 4G network coverage area as shown on the coverage map. while this is for the MF286C (probably the US version), I suspect that the antenna design is similar if not identical on the MF286D.

probs cos providers aren't allowed to sell or use Huawei kit now (or at least in the future if that rule isn't in place yet). Also looks like a removable panel shown which is not on the Three version and behind where that would be is a space for a module of some sort which is not fitted. All being well, it should come up normally and the admin password will be as per factory but with all the "better" Elisa firmware style features unlocked. Firmware is probably locked to Three in various ways, as well as SIM lock (which has been removed somehow) there must be a DNS lock.Although the serial port gives me the same access as telnet would, I want to stick the MF286D in the attic so telnet is a more practical option for shell access. He currently specialises in writing content for Broadband Savvy designed to help people understand broadband jargon and terminology, increase their download and upload speeds, and improve their Wi-Fi connectivity. Once you get the 4G Hub, as we mentioned above, your download and upload speeds will be heavily influenced by where the router is located. I have a bluespot 5g, a large 4g panel antenna of an unknown brand (in its defence it’s massive, the coax is good quality and it gives good results - I got it on a clearance sale for 30 quid ish online where RRP was about 90 quid or so). There is an important function of setting the mobile data transfer limit (or time of using the network).

Like I wrote we cannot test those bands in Poland and we do not have those bands even in our original gui.

The mesh Wi-Fi package comes with two eero devices you can position around the house, helping you get better Wi-Fi signal throughout the property.
