Description

Teachers and students can create and explain interactive content visually by writing, editing, and annotating directly in files and sharing their screen in real-time. My benchmark for pen displays has always been the industry-leading Wacom devices so I already had a set of expectations on what I was looking for. Of course, I still think the more buttons there are on a tablet the better, but I personally only “need” 8 buttons + 1 wheel after streamlining my workflow more, and that is why my newer reviews say I’m satisfied with 8 shortcuts (+1 wheel which is implied).

To give credit where credit is due, it is good that they created a tunnel in front of the port to better support the cable weight and prevent it from breaking the port over time, and the cable fits fairly snugly into that tunnel. With that said, it’s better than having no stand and it will do in a pinch by propping it up with other things like textbooks to get a better angle. There's a Mini-Display Port to HDMI adapter included for those who have the Mini-Display or Thunderbolt port on their computers. The advantage of using USB type-C on a tablet is mainly to make the cable flippable for use in left-handed mode. With XP-Pen, the scroll wheel is quite useful, and you get 18-months of warranty and the stand, but the display is smaller.

This also applies to the pen buttons, so you can use combinations of shortcut keys and pen buttons if you need to. With that said, the smoothness of the pen tilt is much better on the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 compared to the XP-Pen Artist 12 Pro and Artist 15. As far as I could see, there were no noticeable differences between having it powered by a single USB port, or a power outlet, but this will be different based on how much power your USB port can supply. I don’t really emphasize how the pen tilt is so bad because it’s still a “side” feature which isn’t necessary to draw in digital.

or Above needs to add the "PenTabletSetting" and "PenTabletDriverUX" into the accessibility list first after installed XP-PEN Driver. There are 3 physical buttons on the right side (If you are using it in right-handed mode), The power button, brightness down, and brightness up. Personally, I think Huion’s tablets look very cool and sleek, but the drawing capabilities are roughly the same between the two (the pen tilt feature is much worse on the XP-Pen though). The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. These shortcut keys also have anti-ghosting capabilities, meaning you can press multiple buttons at once and have them all work, the same way pressing multiple keys on a keyboard activates all of them at once.Visually present your handwritten notes and signatures precisely – ideal for your web conferencing or online teaching needs.

I don’t like the feel of the shortcut buttons on either of these tablets, but the Huion H610Pro V2 shortcut buttons feel much better by comparison. With the release of the Artist 12 Pro and Artist 13 Pro, the Artist Pro series now has all the common sizes ranging from 12-inch to 22-inch. Unfortunately, if you intend to assign multiple functions to the red dial, you will need to assign one of the shortcut buttons to the KL/KR Switch Function to allow you to toggle between the multiple functions assigned to the touch bar. The pen has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, 2 customizable side buttons, has a rubber grip, and a nice red accent ring.

I didn’t have any problems controlling my strokes and making both thin and thick lines was relatively easy. Driver Download: Our driver will be regularly updated, so please go to our official web to download the newest driver, and install it on your computer. If the shortcut keys that come with the XP-Pen are extremely important for your work, then that can flip the tables and make the XP-Pen Artist 13. If you are used to working on a 24″ or bigger monitor like me, things might look small while working on this 12″ display tablet for the first time.
