It’s the 1990s, everyone at school loves music, but the likes of Smash Hits magazine never have the lyrics of TLC, Mary J. Rap battles form a key part of the plot, but really this is a story of friendship between two boys, one of whom (Kofi) is a energetic wannabee-entrepreneur, the other (Kelvin) held back despite a photographic memory by his stutter and shyness.

The whole school is obsessed with music , no one can ever make out the words, so the boys hit the jackpot selling a new fanzine full of song lyrics: PAPER JAM. A Changing Places toilet is located on Level 1 Royal Festival Hall next to the JCB Glass Lift, for the exclusive use of disabled people who need personal assistance to use the toilet. The facility includes a height-adjustable bench, tracking hoist system, a centrally-placed toilet, a height-adjustable basin and a shower. From Nobel Laureates Samuel Beckett and Harold Pinter to theatre greats Tom Stoppard and Alan Bennett to rising stars Polly Stenham and Florian Zeller, Faber Drama presents the very best theatre has to offer.Kofi and the Rap Battle Summer tells the story of a boy growing up in the 1990s on a housing estate in London. For step-free access from the Queen Elizabeth Hall Slip Road off Belvedere Road to the Queen Elizabeth Hall auditorium seating (excluding rows A to C) and wheelchair spaces in the Rear Stalls, plus Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer and the Purcell Room, please use the Queen Elizabeth Hall main entrance.

And although Kofi’s scheme at the arcade is also making money, he’s having issues with Leroy, a new friend who’s mean to Kelvin. Members get the first chance to book our entire programme of events, including go-down-in-history gigs, concerts with world-class orchestras, and talks from cultural icons and political giants. Their staid school is often punishing Kofi for his behaviour, and pupils have started secretly performing battles of words (insults) in breaks, one-upping each other with an audience looking on admiringly. The whole school is obsessed with music, no one can ever make out the words, so the boys hit the jackpot selling a new fanzine full of song lyrics: PAPER JAM.You can also use the external lift near the Artists' Entrance on Southbank Centre Square to reach Mandela Walk, Level 2.

Home to William Golding, Sylvia Plath, Kazuo Ishiguro, Sally Rooney, Tsitsi Dangarembga, Max Porter, Ingrid Persaud, Anna Burns and Rachel Cusk, among many others, Faber is proud to publish some of the greatest novelists from the early twentieth century to today.
